48 PG Medical Seats Vacant After Mop-Up Round: CENTAC
Puducherry: The vacancy position after the Mop-Up round of PG-NEET medical courses has been released by CENTAC.
The centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the counseling authority of PG Medical Admission to provide admission to the candidates in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Candidates who passed with qualified marks in NEET PG are only eligible to apply.
A total of 48 seats are available for PG-NEET medical courses.

2. Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)
3. Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMC&H)
4. Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SVMCH&RC)
Mop-Up counselling was carried out in hybrid mode (online and offline modes). Candidates choose any one mode. Candidates who deposited fee money only were allowed to participate. Seats were allotted only after paying the entire tuition fee.
Mop-Up counselling was held in sessions. In the first session, reservations were allowed for Government Quota seats. After that, unfilled reserved seats were converted into unreserved seats and offered as per merit.
Candidates who have joined colleges till the 2nd round of counselling were also eligible for Mop-Up Counselling. This was done based on the consideration that the candidates could choose the course of their choice based on merit and without blocking any seats. Candidates who have not joined were also eligible for Mop-Up counselling.
CENTAC is a common admission portal to Puducherry colleges and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examinations are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
