5 Seats Available For Priority V Candidates After Mop Up NEET PG Counseling: AFMC
Pune: 5 seats are available for Priority V candidates after the AFMS mop-up PG counseling 2022 held on 21st November 2022, announced Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC).

The counselling schedule will be held tomorrow (24th November 2022) at 7.30 am. The candidates must report at Dhanvantari Auditorium in AFMC, Pune, on an empty stomach for Medical Examination.
Eligibility criteria –
1. A candidate must be a citizen of India
2. Candidates NOT holding any seats through any counseling and whose names do not appear in the seat allotment list published by MCC.
3. Candidates must have MBBS Degree registered with State Medical Council or MCI. Students who have completed the internship by 31st July 2022 are eligible to apply along with a provisional registration certificate.
4. The candidate must have appeared in NEET- PG 2022 and scored a minimum qualifying mark as indicated by MCC. MCC has notified vide their notification dt 19th October 2022 that the cut-off for the NEET PG 2022 has been reduced to the 25th percentile, and candidates who became eligible after lowering the percentile can register during the mop-up counseling for PG courses 2022.
There is no reservation based on caste/religion, and the selection will be purely based on merit. The number of candidates to be admitted in any discipline will be determined by the number of PG teachers available, the student-teacher ratio, and any other criteria laid down by the NMC/ affiliated universities from time to time. The exact number of available seats will be communicated to the Counseling committee before the the Counseling session.
The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a leading medical training institute in Pune, India, in the state of Maharashtra. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces, established in May 1948 as a postgraduate teaching institution. The institution primarily imparts training to medical undergraduates and postgraduates, dental postgraduates, nursing cadets, and paramedical staff.
