614 MBBS, BDS seats added to MCC NEET counselling round 2, check details
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently added 614 MBBS and BDS seats in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2nd Round Counselling 2024.
Additionally, MCC has also released the virtual vacancy for the NEET-UG Round 2 UG Counselling 2024. In this, a total of 6947 virtual vacancies are vacant for round 2 MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing admission. These virtual seats have been added in several colleges across India such as West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab, Puducherry, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Jammu And Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Delhi, Dadra And Nagar Haveli, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Andaman And Nicobar Islands.
Moreover, MCC has also informed through a notice that the authority has received information from DGHS that four universities have been given the status of 'Deemed to be University' by UGC. Therefore, the seats of such four colleges are being included in the seat matrix of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2024 in the larger interest of the candidates.
A total of 600 seats have been included in these 4 medical colleges such as Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad with 200 seats, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, Hyderabad with 200 seats, Malla Reddy Institute of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad with 100 seats and Malla Reddy Dental College for Women, Hyderabad with 100 seats.
Meanwhile, MCC is going to close the choice filling tomorrow i.e., September 10, 2024, hence, candidates willing to participate in NEET UG counselling 2024 choice filling are requested to complete the process before the time runs out. After the completion of the choice filling, the eat allotment process will begin on September 11 and will close on September 12, 2024. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be out on September 13, 2024. All the MBBS and BDS candidates who have acquired a seat in Round 2 can report to the allotted college from September 14 to September 20, 2024. The data will be verified from September 21 to September 22, 2024. Below is the complete schedule-
