67 more MBBS seats added to MCC NEET counselling round 3, choice filling extended
New Delhi- Through a notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has announced the addition of several new MBBS seats to the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 3 counselling seat matrix for the academic year 2025.
According to the notice, the new seats have been added following updates received from ESIC Medical College, Joka (Kolkata) and Vels Medical College & Hospital, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. As per the seat matrix, a total of 67 MBBS seats have been added from the said Institutes.

The MCC has stated that due to the addition of these new seats, the choice filling window for Round-3 has been extended till tomorrow, i.e. October 10, 2025, 8:00 AM, while choice locking is activated from 9:00 PM on October 9, 2025.
