AIIMS Announces result of open round of INI CET January 2024
New Delhi- The result of the open round of seat allocation for MD, MS, MCh (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS for the January 2024 session (INI-CET) has been announced by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Additionally, AIIMS has issued a notice detailing the necessary documents and essential information for candidates who are allotted for the open round seat allocation process.
As per the notice, candidates are required to provide a set of self-attested photocopies of 8 original documents. Along with this, if applicable, candidates must also submit 2 certificates. Further, the eligibility criteria and validity date of certificates will remain the same as published earlier and the last date of the application form will be considered as 13 October 2024.
Documents are as follows-
1 Offer Letter.
2 Seat allocation Slip (take a print after online acceptance of the allocated Seat (Institute subject/speciality).
3 Final Registration Slip (From MyPage after logging in).
4 Admit Card issued by AIIMS (From MyPage after logging in).
5 Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.
6 MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.
7 Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will complete the 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st January 2024 for all INIs. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council.
8 High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation).
Certificates are as follows-
1 Original certificates of SC and ST should be issued by the competent authority.
2 Original certificates of OBC and EWS should also be issued by the competent authority in either English or Hindi language on the specified dates. The community should be mentioned in the certificate. OBC (NCL)/EWS Certificate must be the same and should be provided to the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within the due dates.
All the candidates who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the Open Round of Seat Allocation are required to visit the website and actively exercise the following options by Monday, the 19th February 2024 upto 5:00 p.m. and report to the concerned allocated Institute by Monday, the 19th February 2024 upto 5:00 p.m. (except Holidays) with the original documents.
Meanwhile, the allocated PG Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories [OBC (NCL), SC/ST/EWS] will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list. On the other hand, candidates are advised to accept the allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) otherwise the allotted seat will be cancelled.
Those Candidate who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the Open Round of Seat Allocation but DO NOT actively choose Option: A i.e. accept the offer by Monday, the 19th February 2024 upto 5:00 p.m. and complete the necessary formalities by 5.00 p.m. Monday, the 19th February 2024 (except Holidays) such candidates shall be deemed to have declined/refused the offer and all rights to any allocated seats shall be treated as forfeited. If a candidate fails to submit the required certificates as required, his/her candidature will be cancelled, and the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) will be vacated. Failure to report and join by above mentioned date will lead to forfeiture of Rs.3 Lakh deposited and imposition of penalty and other forfeiture as per Information Brochure for Open Round of Seat allocation.
Candidates must ensure that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible on the certificate.
Further, AIIMS has directed that certificates for persons with benchmark disabilities should be issued from duly constituted and authorized medical boards as mentioned in the prospectus. All PWBD candidates allotted seats are required to report with the original PWBD certificate at the Office of the Registrar, Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi on 13 February 2024 (10:00 AM) for verification of disability certificate by the Medical Board. To report under the Open round of seat allocation all PWBD Candidates found eligible after verification of disability certificate, are required to submit all certificates in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates. In addition, any other certificate in respect of candidature as per the Prospectus INI-CET Part-B of the concerned institute, as applicable.
It should be noted that the OBC Certificate should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission to Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only to respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
Valid dates of issuance of certificates-
1 The OBC(-NCL) certificates should have been issued between 06 to 05 October 2022 (date of Exam) both dates inclusive.
2 The EWS certificate must be valid for the financial year 2023-2024 and issued between 01 April 2023 to 05 October 2023 (on or before the date of the Exam), both dates inclusive based on income of year 2022-2023.
The notice states that the list includes only those candidates who were eligible for Seat Allocation for the Open Round of Seat Allocation as per the Information Brochure for open round of Seat Allocation dated 12 January 2024 and have been allocated seats as per merit, choices made and availability of seat. For the Open Round of Seat Allocation, the order of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) Allocation was based on the original merit list and applicable category.
