AIIMS Disqualifies INI SS July 2024 Candidates for Not Meeting mandatory Eligibility Criteria, details
New Delhi- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed through a notice that some candidates who have appeared and qualified the Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality Entrance Examination (INI-SS) for July-2024 session do not fulfil the mandatory eligibility criteria and hence are disqualified.
INI-SS is an entrance exam for admission to DM, M.Ch and MD (Hospital Administration) courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, SCTIMST and JIPMER for the July 2024 session. The entrance exam was conducted on 27th April 2024 in 16 cities of India like Ahmedabad, Puducherry, Bhopal, Bhopal, etc.
As per the notice, AIIMS has informed that some of the candidates who appeared and qualified in INI-SS July 2024 do not fulfil the mandatory eligibility criteria of having their requisite qualification, degree and completion of 3 years tenure by July 31, 2024. Accordingly, those candidates under INISS July 2024, who do not meet the eligibility requirement of completing their tenure of 3 years by 31st July 2024 are hereby disqualified.
Further, candidates who are not considered eligible due to the eligibility criteria but have been allotted any seat in the 1st round of seat allotment of INI SS July 2024 session in any participating institute, such allotment also stands withdrawn.

Meanwhile, one seat in DM infectious diseases for AIIMS Jodhpur is reserved for candidates with MD/DNB in Microbiology and One seat is reserved for candidates with MD/DNB in Medicine/Paediatrics/Tropical Medicine.
It should be noted that seats are strictly non-convertible/non-interchangeable between different groups unless expressly mentioned as per rules applicable at any of the participating INI. Any seat remaining vacant in respective groups (General Seats, Sponsored Seats & Foreign National Seats) shall be filled subsequently as per rules applicable at respective INIs.
