New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the AIIMS has informed about the Open round of seat allocation for MSc courses for August 2020 session

Open Round of Seat allocation for MSc/M. Biotechnology to be held on 1 st April .2021 (Thursday).

Venue: Academic Section, New Delhi

Reporting Date and Time: 01.04.2021 (Thursday) at 8.30 AM

The details of vacant seats at AIIMS New Delhi and Jodhpur as on 27.03.2021 are as under:

Process of Counseling :

ï‚· The number of seats indicated against each Department/category is provisional and may vary at the time of offline seat allocation.
ï‚· A Demand Draft (DD) of an amount of Rs.25,000/- should be made in the favour of Director AIIMS, New Delhi. Candidates who have not made the Demand Draft shall not be allowed to participate in Open Seat Allocation.
ï‚· Candidates who do not join the allotted seat shall be subjected to a penalty of Rs.One Lakh.
ï‚· The allocation of seats will be made strictly as per rank/merit of candidates in the entrance examination and rest of the terms and conditions as mentioned in the prospectus for Aug., 2020 Session are remain same.
ï‚· The list of candidates who have qualified i.e. have secured minimum cut-off percentage or above is available on AIIMS website www.aiimsexams.ac.in .
ï‚· Demand Draft of Rs.25,000/- in original alongwith all original certificates of qualification viz. Admit Card, 10th passing/Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth, Degree/Provisional/passing Certificate from any recognized University with 60% marks for GEN/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST Candidates/Mark Sheets of the qualifying examination/Registration/Proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS and Migration Certificate along with a set of self-attested copies of all the certificates.
ï‚· Relevant degree of Certificate of the recognized University showing fulfilment of eligibility. Proof of passing the qualifying examination on or before 31st August, 2020 with requisite percentage of marks and subjects failing which their performance at the entrance examination will not be considered.
ï‚· Candidates will not be allowed to attend Open Seat Allocation without the production of required documents with original Demand Draft.
ï‚· No authorized representative will be allowed to attend the open Seat Allocation.
ï‚· Those candidates who have joined any AIIMS in the earlier round of Seat Allocation/Counseling are also eligible for this Open Round of Seat allocation /counseling subject to surrender/resign the seat by 31.03.2021 till 5.00 p.m. and required to bring proof of their resignation letter/seat surrender letter in original alongwith original certificates in open seat allocation.
ï‚· Failure to bring valid caste certificate (as per format mentioned in the Prospectus at Page No.42 & 45) shall make the candidates ineligible for the purpose of allotment of seat in OBC/EWS category. No provisional allotment will be made. The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS Certificate shall be 16.4.2019 to 21.08.2020 (both date inclusive) Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only. Those candidates who are found not eligible for OBC/EWS seat on the basis of verification of respective certificates, shall be treated as UR if their rank is within the cut-off rank for UR merit list, or will not be considered to be in this list of rank is beyond the cutoff rank for UR Merit list.
ï‚· On the day of open seat allocation for M.Sc Courses, first UR seat allocation will be done and after UR seat allocation is over, EWS seat allocation will be done followed by OBC/SC/ST seat allocation.
ï‚· If any EWS seat remain vacant after seat allocation for EWS seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit.
ï‚· If any OBC seat remain vacant after seat allocation for OBC seat , all vacant seats will be transferred to UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit.
ï‚· IN case of SC/ST seat allocation, if any SC seats(s) remain vacant, these will be transferred to ST and vice versa. All SC/ST seats which remain vacant after such transfers will also be transferred to UR Category and will be offered to UR candidates strictly on merit.
ï‚· Thus, UR candidates will be called again in case any OBC, SC and ST seats remain vacant after seat allocation for these categories is over in this round and all UR candidates should, therefore, stay back till it is announced that seat allocation is finally over.
