AIIMS Issues Clarification on Seat Designation for INI-CET July 2025: Trauma & Emergency at AIIMS Guwahati Renamed as Emergency Medicine

New Delhi- Through a notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has informed regarding the Seat Position for admission to Postgraduate (PG) courses of INIs for INI-CET July 2025 session.
Through the notice, AIIMS has informed that the Seat of AIIMS Guwahati in Department “Trauma & Emergency” should be read as “Emergency Medicine”.
Recently, AIIMS New Delhi has declared the result of the 1st Round of Seat Allocation (Institute Subject/Speciality) for MD, MS, MCh(6 years), DM(6 years) and MDS, July 2025 Session (INI-CET).
On this, Medical Dialogues has reported that the result has been declared on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi in a rank-wise list of Allocated Seats (Institute and Subject/Speciality) of the 1st Round. Therefore, candidates can view and download their rank from there.
Meanwhile, AIIMS New Delhi is soon going to commence the 2nd round of online seat allocation for INI-CET July 2025 session. As per the schedule, on 10th July AIIMS New Dehi will announce the seat allocation of the 2nd round. Following this, from 11th July Online Acceptance of the allocated seat process will begun.
Besides, the Reporting & Submission of Documents/Security Deposit will also done from 11th to 16th July 2025. Below is the complete schedule-

POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR 2nd ROUND
The candidates who have been allocated a seat in the 1st Round and have chosen option 2 and have fulfilled the requirements shall be eligible for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation.
All the candidates who were eligible in the 1st Round but have not been allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round. Those who have secured more than the 50th percentile for UR Category & 45th percentile for SC/ST/OBC-NCL marks in the INI-CET but not called for the 1st ROUND of seat allocation will not be eligible for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation, but will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
All candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of seat allocation but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) shall not be considered eligible for the 2nd Round of seat allocation, but will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
