AIIMS Kalyani Invites Applications For Post-Doctoral Certificate Courses For January 2025, Check All Admission Details

Kalyani- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Kalyani) has invited applications for the entrance examination for admission to the following Post Doctoral Certificate Courses (PDCC) for the January 2025 Session.

The online application form and fees must be submitted by 11.11.2024 through the Google form mentioned in the notice attached below:

Application fees :

• For Unreserved/OBC candidates is Rs.1000/-. The candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee through

• NEFT in favor of “AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT” as per the below bank details.

• Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

• No fee for SC/ST Candidates of any community.

• Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and summarily rejected Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the commencement of the session, and in case of non-response, the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list. If the seats are unfilled by 31st January in the January session, the seat will be lapsed.

Final Selection by interview:

All Government sponsored / Open candidates found eligible will be called for an interview on Hybrid mode from 21.11.2024 to 22.11.2024 in the Ground Floor Administrative Block AIIMS Kalyani from 9 am onwards.

The interview panel’s composition will be the same for a Senior Resident / Tutor in the concerned Specialty.

*Reservation : No constitutional reservation seats are available/applicable for any seats in any PDCC courses.

Age limit : 45 years and relaxations as per GoI norms

Emoluments

For Government-sponsored candidates – Remuneration shall be paid by the respective sponsoring authority. AIIMS Kalyani will not have any financial implications whatsoever.

For open candidates - As applicable to the first year Academic Senior Resident under t he residency scheme of Govt. of India

Leaves : As per the residency scheme (2.5 EL/Month=30EL/Year)

Provision for penalty : The original certificates of any candidate who opts for a confirmed seat will be retained during the academic session. The same will not be returned to the candidate before completion of the course unless he/she deposits a sum of Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Rupees Two lakh only) once the seat has been confirmed by joining the course as compensation for losses incurred by AIIMS Kalyani due to such midterm departure. The stipend/salary for the month in which his /her resignation from the program becomes effective shall also stand forfeited.

Total- 3375/- through Demand draft in favor of “AIIMS Kalyani Internal Resources Account” payable at Kalyani.

Eligibility for appearing in the PDCC exit exam

75% Attendance is compulsory for appearing in t h e exit exam. In case the candidate is short of attendance, will appear for the exam in next session (January).

Method of evaluation

1. The selected candidates will have a three monthly formative evaluation (at 3, 6 and 9 months) which will consist of both the practical and theory components. Total formative assessment will be of 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals)

2. Each course will have a summative practical and theory assessment. This assessment will be performed by at least two internal and two external examiners. Total summative assessment will be of 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals)

3. The final assessment will be made on basis of combined scores of formative and summative assessments in theory and practicals. Candidates will be declared successful in the course only after securing at least 50% marks. Theory and practicals need to be separately passed.

OTHER INFORMATION FOR THE CANDIDATES: -

(i) The All India Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous body established under Act of Parliament.

(ii) Service under the Institute is governed by that Act and the Rules & Regulations framed thereunder. All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Kalyani, West Bengal.

(iii) Period: PDCC - This course will be of 12 months duration in January 2025 session (1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025).

.(iv) The applicants who do not have requisite qualifications up to the date of publishing this notification in Institute website, will not be considered.

(v) Incomplete application(s) will be summarily rejected.

(vi) The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification.

(vii) The post(s) is/are whole time and private practice of any kind is prohibited.

(xi) The candidates are likely to be posted at rural health and urban centre attached with the Institute for the period to be decided by the Institute as applicable.

(x) AIIMS reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.

(xi) While every effort will be made to provide residential accommodation to the appointee at the Institute subject to availability but in view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in every case. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Kalyani, West Bengal will be provided for open candidates only.

(xii) Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.

(xiii) The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

(xiv) In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the Appointing Authority.

(xv) The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.

(xvi) The decision of the Competent Authority regarding interview, verification of documents and selection would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation/ correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

(xvii) All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Kalyani.
