AIIMS PhD Programme January 2024 Application deadline To End On 26th January
Delhi: The application process for PhD Programme for the January 2024 session at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to end on 26th January 2024. The candidates can register on the official website of AIIMS.
Correction of images and submission of necessary documents can be done until 2nd February 2024. The entrance exam to be conducted on 9th February 2024 through CBT online mode from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Admit cards can be accessed on the institute’s website starting from 5th February 2024. The final result to be declared on 11th March 2024.
General/OBC Category candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 2000 + Transaction charges, while SC/ST/EWS Category candidates pay Rs 1600 + Transaction charges. PwBD candidates are exempt from fees.
A total of 115 seats are available for the PhD Program January 2024 session. The departments included are Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cardiac Biochemistry (CNC), Clinical Neuropsychology (CNP) (NSC), Centre for Community Medicine (CCM), Community Ophthalmology (RPC), Dermatology &Venerology, Emergency Medicine JPNATC, Forensic Medicine, Gastroenterology & HNU, Hematology, Laboratory Medicine, Laboratory Oncology, Medical Oncology, Microbiology, Neurology, Occular Biochemistry (RPC), Ocular Pharmacology (RPC), Ophthalmology (RPC), Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Preventive Oncology (IRCH), Preventive Oncology (NCI Jhajjar), Psychiatry, National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), Reproductive Biology, Stem Cell, and Surgical Disciplines.
Selection for PhD registration will be through a three-stage performance evaluation. Stage-I:30 Marks (30 MCQs of 1 Mark each) Aptitude-related MCQs covering English (Written and verbal skills), Biostatistics, Research Methodology, Cell Biology, Lab Technology etc. Stage-II:40 Marks (40 MCQs of 1 Mark each) Subject-related theory based comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of MD/MS/MDS/M.Sc. Entrance level.
Candidates must score at least 35 marks in Stages I and II (Combined) to be eligible for Stage III. Candidates who do not fulfil the criteria to qualify for stage III will not be eligible for selection.
