AIIMS Raipur issues Instruction for Students Reporting for admission to MBBS course

Raipur: AIIMS Raipur has issued Instructions For Students Reporting to AIIMS Raipur for Admission to MBBS Course-2022 Session

1. Information for Reporting for the 1st Round:

2. All the candidates are instructed to read the Prospectus of MBBS 2022 available at http://docs.aiimsexams.edu.in/sites/Prospectus.pdf for eligibility criteria at AIIMS Raipur. Eligibility Criteria will be same as per AIIMS New Delhi.

3. Candidate selected for admission to the MBBS Course - 2022 session at AIIMS Raipur has to report at Academic Section, 2nd Floor, Medical College Building, Gate No. 5, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur.

4. The academic session for MBBS - 2022 batch will start tentatively after 2nd round of counseling (Tentative date: 15th November 2022). Hostel allotment will be done at the time of 2nd round of counseling.

5. Candidates should bring following documents/certificates in original at the time of reporting along with one set of self attested photocopies of all these documents/certificates:

i. Allotment Letter issued by MCC

ii. Admit Card of Exam issued by NTA

iii. Result/Rank Letter issued by NTA

iv. Class 10th Marks Sheet as proof of Date of Birth (Date of Birth Certificate if Class 10th Mark sheet/Certificate does not bear the same)

v. Class 10th Certificate

vi. Class 12th Marks Sheet

vii. Class 12th Certificate

viii. Class 12th Migration Certificate or by University/Board last attended by candidate.

ix. Relieving Letter (if upgraded in any round)

x. Category Certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) as applicable should be issued as per format available at AIIMS prospectus.

a. SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority. Community should be clearly mentioned.

b. OBC Certificate should be issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central list of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must be in the prescribed format.

c. EWS certificate should be issued by the competent authority and must be in the prescribed format.

Note:

1. OBC/EWS Certificates should be issued from 1st April, 2021 and start of reporting of Round-1 of MBBS counseling (i.e. 22.10.2022) notified by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for MBBS admission will be considered valid. Any changes in the start of reporting of Round-1 of MBBS counseling by MCC will be considered.

2. All the certificates should be either English or Hindi in language only. In case the certificate is in regional language, the candidate should carry a Attested translated copy of the certificate in English/Hindi.

xi. Disability (PWBD) Certificate - The disability certificate as per format should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the state or Central Government Hospitals/Institutions.

Note:

• All PWBD candidates will be evaluated by Institute Medical Board of AIIMS Raipur to determine eligibility.

• Therefore, all PWBD candidates are advised to reports at least 1-2 day prior to last date of reporting, so that they can undergo evaluation by the Institute Medical Board. DO NOT WAIT TILL LAST DATE OF REPORTING.

xii. Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.

xiii. Photocopy of Proof of Identity (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License -Aadhar card is preferable) - Please carry original Identity card also, as its photocopy will be verified with the original.

xiv. Any Other documents, if applicable.

6. Eligibility

i. Age: Candidates should be born before 1st January 2006 i.e. Candidates born on or after 1st January 2006 are NOT eligible.

ii. Essential Academic Qualification:

• Candidate should have passed 12th Class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized university/board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject.

• Candidates, who have appeared or appearing at qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidate will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

iii. Minimum Percentage/Marks:

• the minimum aggregate of marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained in qualifying examination:

. General (UR), OBC, EWS Candidates: 60%

. SC/ST Candidates: 50%

. PwBD Candidates: 45%

• Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by the respective examination board.

7. Fee to be deposited at the time of reporting/admission.

i. Total Rs. 5,856/- (Rupees Five thousand eight hundred fifty six only) is to be paid at the time of reporting/admission by Cash/Debit/Credit cards only. Breakup of fee to be paid is given below:

This fees is for the entire duration of the course (4 1/2 years) and is charged on a one¬time basis at the time of admission.

Fees for students taking admission under Central Pool Scheme (in $):

The fee for self financing/ foreign national students and other similar cases allocated under central pool scheme is US$ 75,000/- (divided in three equal installments of pre clinical phase, para clinical phase and clinical phase of MBBS course.

Note: Any seat allotted other than All India Quota will be treated as Central Pool Quota seat only.

8. Mess Fee: The mess fee will be as per actual as decided by the Mess Contractor from time to time. Ordinarily, Mess fees is around Z 3000 - Z 3500 per month and subject to revision time to time.

10.The completion of admission formalities may take more than one day. Therefore, it is advisable to plan the travel accordingly.

11. Those candidates who joined MBBS course at AIIMS, Raipur, his/her all original certificate will be retained and the same will not be returned to the candidate before completion of the course.

12. Hostel Allotment for candidates confirmed their seat in 1st Round will be done on 11th and 12th November 2022. For candidates, who confirms their seats in 2nd Round will be done from 12th November 2022 onwards.
