AIIMS To Conduct Entrance Exam For INI CET July 2023 Session On 7th May, Admit Card Released
Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to conduct entrance exam for INI CET July 2023 Session on 7th May 2023. Admit card for the same has been released.
The Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission into July 2023 session will be held for postgraduate courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) and MDS] at Institutes of National Importance (INIs) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER-Chandigarh and SCTIMST- Trivandrum.
The admit card is available online at https://aiimsexams.ac.in/. The Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, will not send admit cards through email or post. It will be issued only to the candidates who have completed all the stages of the application form.
The process to download the admit card –
1. The candidates can download from the link available at “MyPage” on https://aiimsexams.ac.in/.
2. After Application Zone, the candidates must log in using the Registration ID, Password and Exam Unique Code (EUC).
3. The admit card will be displayed on the screen, which needs to be downloaded and saved for future reference.
No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center unless they possess an admit card valid for INI CET July 2023 Session. The admit card must bear the details of printouts such as IP address etc.
The candidates should note that the fact that an admit card to the examination has been issued to them will not imply that their candidature has been finally cleared or that entries made by them in their application for INI-CET July 2023 have been accepted as true and correct.
If the candidates observe any discrepancies or errors, they must bring it to the notice of the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, through email (email id: aiims.inicet@gmail.com). The emails must be sent from the candidate’s registered email. They are required to mention their Registration ID and allotted Roll Number in the email.
Mode and scheme of examination –
The examination for INI-CET July 2023 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
1. Duration - 3 hours (180 minutes)
2. Number of Questions – 200
3. Type of Questions - Objective type of questions of varying types (including Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice Questions
4. Correct Answer - One Mark (+1)
5. Incorrect Answer - Minus one-third (-) 1/3
6. Unanswered / Marked for Review – 0
The percentile scores in INI-CET will be used to determine eligibility for admission to postgraduate seats in all participating INIs. The minimum percentile cut-off required for applicants will be as follows –
1. For seats under Unreserved (UR), EWS, Sponsored & Foreign Nationals [including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)] will be 50th percentile.
2. For OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Bhutanese Nationals (PGI-Chandigarh only), seats will be 45th percentile.
