Applying for NEET PG 2024, Know The Exam Scheme
New Delhi- The National Board of Examination (NBE) has invited applications for NEET PG 2024 for admission to various MD, MS, PG Diploma Courses, Post MBBS DNB Courses, Post MBBS Direct 6-year DrNB courses and NBEMS diploma courses. On this, NBE has released the Information Bulletin of NEET PG 2024 detailing the scheme of the examination for the candidates.
The registration process for NEET PG 2024 will continue till 6th May 2024 at 11:55 PM. The exam will be conducted on the computer-based platform at various examination centres across the country on June 23, 2024, and the result will be declared by July 15, 2024.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
SYLLABUS
1 The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India.
2 The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using a computer network (CBT) as per the scheme prescribed.
3 The exam comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/ distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. The time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes.
MARKING SCHEME
Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:

There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
During the examination, candidates will be given the option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review which means that the candidate has been given an option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends. Candidates may note that such questions which are marked for review shall be evaluated as per the marking scheme mentioned above.

HOW TO FILL ONLINE NEET PG 2024 APPLICATION FORM
The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form:
1 Fill out the user registration form to generate the User ID/Application ID and Password.
2 User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.
3 Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.
4 Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee.
5 Agree to the declaration and Submit the Application.
6 Take a printout of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records.

The prescribed exam fee should be remitted through a payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India or other modes as may be made available and have been provided on the web page.
