As NMC issues LoP to several medical colleges, MCC Extends NEET 2024 Round-2 Choice Filling Deadline for new seats
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is going to extend the last date for choice filling for Round-2 of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024. The new last date for choice filling for Round-2 of NEET UG counselling 2024 is to be announced soon.
Also, some new seats will be added to the seat matrix as new LOPs are issued by NMC/Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Therefore, in the larger interest of the candidates, MCC has decided to extend the last date for exercising choice filling for the newly added seats in Round-2, the official notice in this regard informed.
With this, the updated seat matrix for Round-2 of NEET UG Counselling 2024 will also be released soon on the official website of MCC. However, currently, MCC has released the list of names of some institutes to which LOP has been issued and some more seats may be added further.
As per the list, names of a total of 8 institutes have been released, to which LOP has been issued and new seats will be added further. The names include Autonomous State Medical Colleges of Kaushambi, Auraiya, Gonda and Lakhimpur Kheri, Baba Keenaram Autonomous State Medical College, Government Medical Colleges of Nagaur, Sawai Madhopur and Banswara.
NEET UG 2024 2nd round counselling began on September 5, 2024, and is expected to end on September 26, 2024. Below is the complete schedule-
