BFUHS Announces Revised Round 2 Counselling Schedule For MBBS, BDS Admission
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) announced revised round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admission.
Detailed schedule –
Date of submission of willingness to participate in Round 2Counseling for admission in Govt./Pvt. Medical/Dental Colleges.

Display of Provisional Result | Up to 25.11.2022 |
Objections (if any) regarding Provisional Results can be submitted Physically at the University office | Up to 26.11.2022 (11:00 AM) |
The final Provisional Result will be declared | 26.11.2022 |
Date of reporting/joining in the provisionally allotted college | 27.11.2022 to 30.11.2022 |
Eligibility criteria for round 2 –
1. The candidates who have already been registered and paid the registration fee.
2. The candidates who have been allotted/not allotted seats during round 1.
3. The candidates who have joined/not joined the allotted seat during round 1.
4. The candidates who resign/surrender the joined seat of round 1 up to 15.11.2022.
5. The candidates who are holding the seat of round 1 are interested in upgrading their seats.
Following is the amount of security to be paid by the candidates for submission of willingness –
1. Only Government Colleges (Medical/Dental) - Rs. 10000
2. Both Government and Private Colleges (Medical/Dental) - Rs. 100000
The following penalty is to be imposed (Penalty will be imposed if the candidate will not join) -
1. Government Colleges- Rs. 10000 (half the amount for SC/BC candidates)
2. Private Colleges-Rs.100000
Details issued –
1. The fee received after the stipulated date will not be accepted. Therefore, the Candidates are advised to deposit the fee through the online payment gateway well in advance to avoid network congestion in the last few days. BFUHS will not be responsible for network congestion/problems. No request for accepting the fee after the stipulated date will be entertained.
2. The candidates who have already deposited a fee during round 1 equivalent to the security amount, need not deposit the requisite fee otherwise the proportionate amount is required (as applicable).
3. Once, the seat is allotted during round 2 on account of upgradation or fresh allotment will be considered as a final allotment. If any candidate will not submit joining of round 2 allotted seat, then a penalty will be imposed.
4. The candidates who are holding the seat of round 1 but no seat is upgraded during round 2 will be considered as joined. Thus, they cannot surrender the allotted seat of round 1 and will not be eligible for a further round of counselling.
5. Once, the seat gets upgraded in round 2, the seat of Round-I gets vacated automatically and offered to the candidate as per merit in the same round. Thus, no claim can be made on the previous allotment of round 1.
6. Once, the candidate surrenders the seat of round 1, the seat will be added to the vacancy position for round 1. Thus, no claim can be made on the previous allotment of round 1 even if no seat upgrades during round 2.
