BFUHS Invites Applications for NEET 2024 Round Counselling, check details
Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is inviting fresh online applications for 3rd round MBBS/BDS online counselling under National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024.
Qualified candidates should fill out the application form for admission to vacant seats of MBBS/BDS courses from today i.e. 08 October 2024 till 10th October 2024. However, the candidate who have already registered during Round 1 & II need not apply again.
Along with the application form candidates should also submit the registration fee of Rs 5000+18% GST (Rs 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST (Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates). For willingness, the following security amount is to be deposited through online payment gateway of the University-

Meanwhile, if any candidate wants to change his/her willingness from Govt. Colleges only to Private & Govt. Colleges/Private Colleges than the candidate has to deposit the remaining security amount i.e. Rs 190000/- through the online payment gateway of the University.
On this, BUFHS has released the complete schedule for the 3rd round of UG Medical/Dental online Punjab State counseling under NEET UG-2024. Below is the detailed schedule-

2 | Date for fresh online registration/application and deposition of application and security deposit for fresh applicants along with a fee of Rs. 5000+18%GST(Rs. 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST(Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates) through university payment portal. (Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with a security deposit for 3rd online counselling. 3 | The last date for submitting willingness along with security deposit for 3rd round of counselling by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants). The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under: 1 For Government colleges - Rs. 10000/- (half for SC/BC). 2 For both Govt. & Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/- 3 For Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/-. | 08.10.2024 to 10.10.2024 (upto 5:00 PM) |

5 | The candidates who will apply under Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Minority College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already verified their minority status at the time of 1st & 2nd counselling, need not report to the respective institute for verify again. The candidates who have already registered under Minority Quota during 1st & the 2nd counselling and did not get their minority status verified can report to the respective institute for verification of their minority status for the 3rd round of counselling. | 10.10.2024 |

ELIGIBILITY FOR 3RD ROUND OF COUNSELLING
Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 3rd Round would be from one of the following groups-
GROUP 1- Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the Round 1 or Round 2.
GROUP 2- Registered candidates who have secured a seat & whose 2nd round allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of seat in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to availability of seat in the respective category.
GROUP 3- Candidates who have reported at the allotted institute during 2nd round of allotment and submitted willingness for third round for up-gradation.
GROUP 4- Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not join or resign and exited after forfeiture of fees.
NOT-ELIGIBLE FOR 3RD ROUND OF COUNSELLING
1 Candidate who has become non-eligible due to having inadequate documents as per Eligibility Criteria.
2 Candidate who has not registered in Round 1 or Round 2 or Round 3.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 The candidates who can apply afresh for 3rd Round of counselling (These candidates have to pay the registration fee and security amount at the time of submission of willingness as per rules)-
i The candidates who will register/apply for the first time.
ii The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round-II counselling can apply afresh for the 3rd Round and they will have to deposit the security amount again for submitting willingness and choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule.
2 The candidates who need not apply afresh for 3rd Round of counselling
i The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Round I and II need not to register/apply again.
ii The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1stonline Counseling with free exit upto 06.10.2024(till 04:00 PM) and do not hold any seat of Round-I. However, they will have to submit Willingness alongwith requisite amount of security (equivalent to penalty) and will submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule.
