BFUHS invites fresh applications for NEET PG round 3 counselling after cutoff revision, details

Faridkot: Following the revision of the NEET PG 2025 cutoff scores after lowering of the qualifying percentile by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), has invited fresh online registrations and applications along with willingness to participate in the third round of PG medical counselling.

The applications have been invited for admissions to Government and Private colleges, Private Universities and Minority Institutions in Punjab.

"The NBE vide notice dated 13.01.2026 revised the cut off score after lowering of qualifying percentile for General category 7th Percentile, PwD 5th Percentile and for SC/BC category 0th percentile in NEET PG-2025 as under. Therefore, fresh online Registration/Applications are invited alongwith willingness to participate in 3 rd round counselling for admission to PG Medical courses in Govt./Private colleges, Private Universities and Minority Institutions in the state of Punjab from 14/01/2026 onwards through University website. Rest of the schedule including last date for submission of online application and willingness of 3rd round counselling will be intimated lateron through University website. Any update issued by MCC/Govt. of India/Govt. of Punjab regarding PG Medical admission session 2025 shall be applicable, the notice read

1) The fresh online registration/applications alongwith fee of Rs. 5900/- (Rs. 2950/- for SC/BC) including GST through university payment portal are invited through University website as per National Board of Examinations notice dated 13.01.2026 vide which the qualifying percentile for admission under NEET PG -2025 is lowered/revised as under :

(Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness alongwith security deposit for 3rd round online counselling)

2) The dates for submitting willingness alongwith security deposit for 3rd round of counseling by all the candidates and fresh applicants). The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under:

For Government colleges- Rs. 25000/- (Rs. 10000/-for SC/BC/PwD)

For Private Colleges- Rs. 2,00000/-

3) Last date for submission of hard copy of admission application form at University office for NRI quota seats. Candidates seeking admission under NRI quota are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from the University prior to apply. (Application form for obtaining Eligibility certificate and admission application form are separately available on University website.)

Last date for submission of application and willingness of 3rd round counselling will be intimated lateron.

4) PCMS incentive category candidates will submit hard copy of online Admission Application Form alongwith copies of NOC and Eligibility Certificate issued by the Competent authority and proof of fee remittance by hand in Admission branch, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The in service candidates who have submitted NOC during 1st and 2nd round need not to submit NOC again.

Last date for submission of NOC for 3rd round counselling will be intimated lateron through University website.

5) The candidates who have joined the allotted seats of Round-I and Round-II in the State of Punjab are allowed to surrender the seat with Security forfeiture. The interested candidate will have to submit application of surrendering the seat to the Principal of concerned college to enable him to surrender the seat on the online portal so that vacancy for Round-3 will get updated.
The Last date for surrender of seat with security forfeiture will be intimated lateron through University website.

6) Rest of the schedule including last date for submission of online application and willingness of 3 rd round counselling will be intimated lateron through University website. For Prospectus/detailed Schedule/Fee/Details and updates visit of BFUHS.
