Bihar PG Medical Admissions: Counselling Schedule For Fresh Mop-Up Released, Details
Bihar: Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) has released the counselling schedule for fresh Mop-Up counselling for PG Medical courses.
As per the notice, the merit list will be published today (2nd May 2022) at 8:00 pm. On 4th May 2022, the counselling process is scheduled to start.
Fresh offline Mop-Up round counselling will be conducted in BCECE Board, IAS Bhawan, Near Patna Airport, Patna-14. Those candidates, who have already duly submitted the online application form earlier for appearing in Mop-Up counselling held from 26th March 2022 to 29th March, need not apply again. Those candidates will be automatically included in the merit list to be prepared for this round of counselling if found eligible.
Candidates who joined in round 2, whether through AIQ or State Quota will not be eligible to participate in this round. Those candidates who are admitted to any Government/ Private Medical College of India are not eligible for Mop-Up round counselling.
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria and instructions and other details in the prospectus of PGMAC-2021 which can be downloaded from the board's website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The seat matrix for this round is also available on the board's website.
The final Merit list for the Medical course will be prepared after scrutinizing the data provided by the National Board of Examination/ Health Department, Government of Bihar.
DQ candidates must note that they have to submit a DQ certificate issued by only authorised Centres/Institutes on prescribed proforma as per para-7B (Annexure-1A, 1B, 1C) of the prospectus of PGMAC-2021 at the time of counselling /document verification. After filling and downloading the hard copy of the online application form, candidates must consult any concerned authorised Medical College / Centre / Institute with the downloaded online application form for the disability test for obtaining a disability certificate. Certificates issued from any other Institutes /Centers except above will not be entertained.
The candidates will have to produce their original certificate during the time of document verification / seat allotment, otherwise they will not be considered for Mop-Up counselling. In case of the opting seat for admission, their original documents will be retained.
All candidates who have opted seat and deposited security money of Rs.200000 during the last Mop-Up will have to come with a money receipt provided by BCECE Board; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear in counselling. However, fresh candidates desirous of opting seats in any private medical colleges, has to deposit a bank draft of Rs. 200000 in the favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board payable at Patna at the time of counselling. If the candidates don't take admission on their allotted seat, the deposited amount will be forfeited. In case they take admission, they have to deposit the rest amount of required fee to the concerned institution.
