BOPEE Begins Registration Process For DNB Admissions 2024, Details

Jammu and Kashmir: The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has begun the registration process for Admission to DNB Courses-2024 for candidates belonging to UT of J&K/ Ladakh.

Offline applications are invited from the willing and eligible NEET PG qualified In-service candidates/Doctors of UT of J&K/Ladakh for admission to Post MBBS DNB Seats, Post Diploma DNB Seats & Post MBBS Diploma Seats (Broad Speciality) on the prescribed form and shall be available on the website of the Board only.

Category (a) : Eligibility for Post MBBS DNB & Post MBBS Diploma seats:

I) The candidate appearing for the courses should be in permanent service, serving in the Health and Medical Department J&K/Ladakh

II) Candidate must have qualified NEET PG - 2024 conducted by NBE (National Board of Examination) and should be figuring in the merit list issued by MBEMS,

III) Should possess the NOC from the Administrative Department of Health & Medical Education, J&K/Ladakh for appearing in NEET-PG Exams 2024 session

IV) Candidate must be domicile of UT of J&K/Ladakh.

Category (b): Eligibility for Post Diploma DNB seats:

I) The candidate appearing for the courses should be in permanent service, serving in the Health and Medical Department J&K/Ladakh

II) DNB PDCET – 2024 Score Card.

III) Candidate must have passed Post MBBS Diploma in that particular specialty for which the candidate has to be selected for.

IV) Candidate must be domicile of UT of J&K/Ladakh.

V) Should possess the NOC from the Administrative Department of Health & Medical Education, J&K/Ladakh for appearing in DNB PDCET-2024 Exam/ NEET-PG Exams 2024 session as the case may be.

The candidates are advised to submit their application forms along with the following documents w.e.f. 27-11-2024 to 03-12-2024 (till 3.00 p.m.), physically in the J&K BOPEE Office, Srinagar/ Jammu: -

For Category a)

1) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/ Ladakh (For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST Certificate shall be treated as Domicile Certificate).

2) Valid Reserved Category Certificate, wherever applicable, in terms of S.O 176 of 2024 dated 15-03-2024 read with S.O 305 dated 21-05-2024 and as amended from time to time.

3) Difficult Area Certificate in pursuance of SRO-48 of 2018 dated 30.01.2018, wherever applicable. It should be certified by the concerned Director Health Services.

4) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Government/Competent Authority. However, if any eligible candidate(s) who fails to submit NOC at the time of submission of application form up to 03-12-2024 is advised to submit an undertaking (on plain paper) to the effect that he/she shall submit the NOC at the time of admission in the respective Institution if selected, otherwise his/her admission shall be treated as cancelled ab-initio.

5) NEET PG -2024 Score Card.

For Category b)

1) Post MBBS Diploma in either of the following:

a. Anesthesiology

b. Psychiatry

c. Obstetrics & Gynecologist

d. Pediatrics

e. Radiodiagnosis

f. General Medicine

g. Family Medicine

h. Chest Medicine

i. ENT

j. Radiology

k. Ophthalmology

2) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/ Ladakh (For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh,ST Certificate shall be treated as Domicile Certificate).

3) DNB PDCET – 2024 Score Card.

NOTE

I) The candidates who want to avail benefit of sports category are advised to apply and submit their sports certificates to Secretary J&K Sports Council Jammu/Srinagar as and when notified by the department of sports. However, the sports category benefit shall be given to only such candidates whose names/eligibility shall be forwarded to the BOPEE by J&K Sports Council.

II) The cut-off date for validity of the category certificates shall be the last date for submission of off line application forms viz 03-12-2024.

III) Mere submission of Application forms shall not confer any right on the candidate(s) for admission, which is subjected to further check and verification of their eligibility / documents.

IV) For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, an undertaking in the form of compulsory Service Bond (available on BOPEE Website) to the effect that he /she shall serve in the UT of Ladakh for prescribed period as decided by UT of Ladakh immediately after completing his degree/diploma.

V) The Provisional Merit List (PML), shall be notified in due course of time, after the conclusion of last date of submission of forms.

VI) The candidates shall have to deposit counseling fee of Rs. 2000/- through POS machine available at J&K BOPEE offices, Srinagar/Jammu at the time of submission of application form.

VII) Candidates having “Outstanding Proficiency in Sports” must submit their certificates to Secretary, J& K Sports Council for awarding sports points which will be then officially submitted to the Board by the Sports Council. Board shall not be responsible where a candidate fails to submit certificates to the Council or Council fails to forward sports points of a candidate to Board. Candidates belonging to sports category shall be considered on the basis of merit and sports points given by J&K Sports Council.

VIII) The candidates in their own interest are advised to remain in touch with the website of the Board viz; (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for day-to-day updates.

IX) The Institution/Discipline & Course wise tentative intake/seat matrix shall be available on the official website of the Board one day prior the day of counseling.
