BOPEE Informs on Allocation Of Central Pool MBBS, BDS Seats for Terrorist Victims, Candidates can apply till November 11

Jammu and Kashmir: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) informed about the allocation of Central Pool MBBS and BDS seats of terrorist victims for the academic year 2022-23.

The last date of application submission (s) in duplicate is 11.11.2022 (till 02:00.pm). The same shall be submitted/ deposited by the eligible candidates at J&K BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar physically upto the prescribed date and time.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is not conducting any examination in this regard; the said Ministry will select based on marks obtained by the students/applicants in NEET-UG 2022 and possessing the necessary educational qualification as defined hereinabove.

Eligibility Conditions -

Only the children of -

1. Permanent residents of the State/UT concerned.

2. The employees of the State/UT Government concerned.

3. The employees of Central /Other State / UT Government on deputation to the State/UT concerned and

4. The employees of Central /Other State / UT Govt. posted in and having their headquarters within the State/UT concerned will be eligible.

The children of Central/State/UT Government employees should be treated at par with the resident.

Educational Qualification -

The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English individually and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OSC, 45% for Gen- PwD category candidates & 40% for SC/ST/OBC-PWD candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the clause-4 (2) of Regulations of Graduate Medical Education 1997.

Selection of Candidates -

1. The selection of candidates will be based on rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test -2022, conducted by the National Testing Agency.

2. As per Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997 of the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC), it shall be necessary for the candidates to obtain minimum marks at the 50th percentile at NEET-2022. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the minimum marks shall be at the 40th percentile. However, in respect of candidates with a specified disability, the minimum marks shall be at the 45th percentile.

3. The percentile shall be determined based on the highest marks in the All India Common Merit List in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

Reservation - The Reservation Policy followed by the UT of J&K shall apply to Central Pool MBBS/BDS Seats.

The Documents Required to be attached as under -

1. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K

2. NEET- Score Card 2022.

3. 10+2 Marks Card.

4. Date of Birth Certificate.

5. Category Certificate, if any.

Priority-I

Children whose parents have been killed by terrorists.

FIR, Death Certificate, Post Mortem Report & Affidavit that no other family member benefited from

this category.

SHO and Hospital Concerned duly countersigned by the SSP concerned.

Administrative Secretary to Government, Home Department

Priority-II

Terrorists have killed children of families who are sole bread earners.

FIR, Death Certificate, Post Mortem Report, Certificate that the

deceased was the sole bread

earner and Affidavit that no other member of the family got the benefit of this category

SHO and Hospital concerned duly countersigned by the SSP concerned, and Tehsildar was concerned regarding the person killed that they were the sole bread earner in the family.

Administrative Secretary to Government, Home Department

Priority-III

Wards of victims with permanent disability and serious injury caused by terrorist operations.

Nature of

injury and disability caused to the victim (to be confirmed by the State Police/Home Department.

SHO and Hospital concerned duly countersigned by the SSP concerned.

Administrative Secretary to Government, Home Department.

Candidates note that mere submission of applications shall not confer any right on the applicant for their selection, which shall be done by the concerned Ministry Government, of India, in accordance with the rules/ procedures on the subject.
