CENTAC invites new registrations for MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses 2021, Details
Puducherry: The Government of Puducherry Centralized Admission Committee , CENTAC has invited new online applications from NEET-UG Qualified candidates for admission to the first year MBBS/BDS/BAMS for the academic year 2021-22 in Government and Self Financing Medical and Dental and Veterinary colleges in the UT of Puducherry.
The new online application window closes on 10th January 2022 at 6 pm.
Applications are invited under Government / All India (Management) / NRI and Self–Supporting (SS) Quota. The candidates can apply through online mode only. Candidates who have already applied need not apply once again.
The candidates before proceeding to register online are advised to carefully read the application details and keep ready the scanned images of photograph, signature, and other relevant certificates.
As per the notice, while filling up the applications the candidates should ensure that they are entering the All India Counseling rank against the NEET rank. OBC Candidates seeking admission to B.V.Sc National Self Supporting Seats should submit their All India OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate as an attachment.
The selection process of the candidates who want to take admission in the colleges will base on the following criteria -
• All the eligibility criteria should match set by the exam committee.
• Correct information has to fill in during the online application and proper documents have to be submitted.
• Once the form is submitted the merit list is going to be prepared as per the marks of the candidates in NEET, qualifying exam, or JEE.
• Then the colleges cut-off will be released.
• The qualifying candidates will then have to appear for counseling
CENTAC is a common admission portal to all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
