CENTAC NEET 2025 counselling: Round 2 registration, round 1 seat withdrawal dates extended, details

Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee, CENTAC has extended the deadline for Round 2 registration and submission of course preferences as well as withdrawal of round 1 admitted seats for undergraduate NEET counselling 2025.
As per the latest notice issued on September 2, 2025, the last date for submitting willingness and course preferences for Round 2 counselling has now been extended till September 12, 2025, 5:00 p.m. The extension has been announced in line with the revised counselling schedule published by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Meanwhile, CENTAC has also opened the window for withdrawal of Round 1 admitted seats. Candidates who had joined their allotted seats in Round 1 but now wish to resign or withdraw without paying a forfeiture fee can do so by submitting a Resignation Request Letter through their login dashboard. The deadline for this process is September 11, 2025, 5:00 p.m.
In the notice, the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) said, "based on the revised schedule for State Counselling published by MCC, the last date for submission of willingness and course preferences for counseling to UG NEET ROUND 2 is extended till 12.09.2025, 5.00 p.m."
On Resignation / Withdrawal of the ROUND 1 Admitted Seat, the counselling authority stated, "Candidates who have joined their CENTAC allotted seat in ROUND 1 and who are now desirous of Resigning / Withdrawing the admitted seat without Forfeiture Fee, may submit their Resignation Request Letter (Refer Annexure – 19 in the UG NEET Information Brochure) through the Candidate’s Login Dashboard on or before 11.09.2025, 5.00 pm."
