CENTAC Opens Special Stray Round Registrations for PG Medical Admissions, Apply NOW!

Puducherry- The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has opened the Special Stray Round Registration for the vacancies for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Medical (MD and MS) courses for the academic year 2024-25.
According to the notice issued in this regard, CENTAC is inviting fresh applications from the National Eligibility and Entrance test-Postgradaute (NEET PG) qualified candidates for admission to the 1st year PG Medical (MD and MS) (Government and Management Quota seats) for the Academic Year 2024-2025 against the vacancies published on the CENTAC official website.
Interested candidates can apply online on or before 14 March 2025, 5.00 pm and submit their willingness, declaration form and course preferences along with payment of applicable Tuition Fees.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTERING SPECIAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND
1 All candidates who have been admitted in Round 1 / Round 2 / Round 3 / Stray round in All India Quota or State Quota are not eligible for the Special Stray round.
2 Candidates who have been allotted any seat in Round 3 or any Stray round in All India Quota or State Quota and who have either joined or not joined are NOT eligible to apply.
3 Candidates who are allotted a Seat through the Special Stray Vacancy round of MCC will not be considered for this round.
PAYMENT OF FULL TUITION FEE
To participate in the SPECIAL STRAY ROUND counselling, candidates are required to pay the Full Tuition Fee fixed as below-

REFUND/FORFEITURE OF FEES PAID FOR SPECIAL STRAY ROUND
1 In case, the candidate is not allotted any seat in the Special Stray round, the Tuition Fee paid, will be refunded to the same account of the candidate from which payment had been made.
2 However, if a seat is allotted and the candidate does not join the course, the entire Tuition Fee amount will be forfeited, and such a candidate will be debarred from taking the NEET exam next year.
3 Therefore, it is advised that the candidate makes a thoughtful decision before submitting course preferences for Special Stray vacancy counselling.
