CENTAC to close round 3 NEET counselling registrations on October 6

Puducherry- The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, recently extended the deadline for Round 3 registration and fee payment for UG NEET-based medical courses for the 2026-27 academic year till today, following the publication of the MCC Round 3 allotment.
Through a notice issued by the CENTAC in this regard, the Committee informed the candidates that fresh vacancies have arisen following the MCC Round 3 allotment. Accordingly, the revised vacancy position for UG NEET courses has also been published by the counselling authority.
The last date for completing Round 3 registration and fee payment has now been extended to October 6, 2026, up to 5 pm.
CENTAC has specifically cautioned candidates that no further extension will be provided for registration, making October 6 the final opportunity for eligible candidates to complete the process.
The extension concerns Round 3 counselling for UG NEET-based medical courses being conducted by CENTAC.
CENTAC has also extended the window for candidates who were allotted and joined seats during Round 1 or Round 2 but now wish to resign or withdraw from their admitted seats.
Such candidates can submit their Resignation Request Letter through their Candidate Login Dashboard on or before October 6, 2026, at 5 pm.
However, CENTAC has clarified that resignation or withdrawal of a Round 1 or Round 2 admitted seat at this stage will be allowed with forfeiture of the registration fee.

CENTAC has also sent SMS alerts to candidates regarding the revised schedule. Candidates requiring clarification can raise their queries through the Grievances option in their login dashboard or contact the CENTAC helpline.

Meanwhile, CENTAC Puducherry has released the revised vacancy positions for UG NEET courses after Round 2 counselling for the 2026-27 academic year, listing vacant seats across MBBS, BDS, BAMS programmes.

The revised vacancy position will be relevant for candidates participating in the subsequent UG NEET counselling process. CENTAC has specifically cautioned candidates that horizontal reservation figures, including PWD, FF, ESM and MSP columns, should not be treated as additional vacant seats while reading the matrix.
