Despite Rajasthan's newly uniform PG medical fee structure, Mahatma Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Technology declares no change in fees

Jaipur: Even though the recent information bulletin for the NEET PG counselling in Rajasthan revealed a uniform MD, MS fee structure across the medical colleges in the state, the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology has announced that PG medical course fees will remain the same as last year.
Issuing a notification in this regard on 14.11.2025, the University announced, "In reference to NEET PG (MD / MS)Admission and Counselling for the forthcoming academic year, that is to be held soon by the Office of the Chairman, NEET PG Admission I Counselling Board — 2025, it is hereby informed to all concerned persons to refer to the latest fee structure of various Post Graduate Courses (MD / MS) being offered at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur on the University website ... or kindly scan the below given QR code for the relevant link."
"The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 23.07.2024 in Special Leave Petition (C) No. 35001 of 2013 has permitted Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur to fix the fee structure for academic year 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27," it added.
According to the fee structure of the MD/MS courses at the university, available on the official website, the tuition fees for the MD/MS courses can vary depending on the specialty.
The tuition fees for the courses such as Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy and Radio-diagnosis is Rs 63 lakh for seats other than management quota and Rs 78.75 lacs & 76 lacs respectively for the management quota seats. The fees for courses including Obstetrics & Gynecology, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics are Rs 71.75 lacs, Rs 68.25 lacs, Rs 65.50 lacs and Rs 63 lacs respectively for the management quota seats. However, the fees for the seats other than management quota for these courses are Rs 50.75 lacs.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) of Rajasthan has standardised the MD/MS course fees at the private medical colleges and private medical universities across the State.
As per the new fee structure, which has been approved by the fee panel, the tuition fees for pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical courses are Rs 2 lakh, Rs 6 lakh, and Rs 32.5 lakh per course, respectively, for both government and management quota seats. This fee structure is applicable for Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur, under the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology as well.
The new fee structure also includes details of fees for admission, examination, library fees, one time registration fees, and hostel charges. The data reveals that the recurring charges, such as admission, examination, and library fees, amount to Rs 35,000, while the fees for the one-time registration fee of Rs 10,000.
Meanwhile, the admission fees for pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical courses are Rs 2.45 lakh, Rs 6.45 lakh and Rs 32.95 lakh, respectively. The panel has standardised the hostel fees at Rs 3.5 lakh for single, Rs 2 lakh for double sharing, and Rs 4 lakh for 1BHK accommodations per course.
