DME Chhattisgarh initiates refund procedure for 197 Candidates due to lack of PG medical Admission in 2nd Round allotment, Details
Chattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has issued a notification related to the refund process for Round 2 PG medical candidates who had paid the registration fee to the state counselling body this year.
As per the notice, total of 214 candidates for the 2nd counselling of P.G. Medical courses have paid the registration fee. The fee has been paid online in the account of C.G. DME Counselling Committee Raipur. 19 candidates out of this 214 have not taken admission after allotment of seats in 2nd counselling. For such candidates, the registration fee has been confiscated.
A total of 197 (195+2) candidates will receive a refund of the registration fee due to lack of Admission in 2nd Counselling allotment. These candidates will receive the refund amount on their registered bank account number.

DME has further stated that Rs 12437500 (Rs 12075000+ Rs 362500) will be refunded. For refund complaints, the candidates can mail at cgdmeugrefund@gmail.com with bank deposit transaction details, copy and name, and NEET roll number. The NEET score card will be attached in the mail.
The list of eligible candidates for a refund and the list of candidates whose refund has been forfeited have been released.
Director of Medical Education (DME) Chattisgarh is a State Authority under the control of the State Government. It is situated in Raipur of Chhattisgarh state and overlooks the medical education in Chhattisgarh through Medical Colleges. DME carries out the counselling process of all the undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses.
