DME Chhattisgarh notifies on Mop Up Round For Government Seats For NEET PG Admission, details
Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) informed about the mop-up round for government seats for NEET PG admission.
As per the notice, the allotment done after the mop-up round conducted on 20th November 2022 for NEET PG is immediately cancelled. It is for the government quota seats.
MCC had announced the joining date for the selected candidates in the mop-up round as 25th November 2022. But for Akhil Bharatiya, the joining date for the allotted candidate is 24th November 2022. So the mop-up round for the government quota will be held after 25th November 2022. Till now, the fresh dates have not been received from MCC.
DME has asked the counselling committee to decide the date of further counselling according to the order of the Honourable Supreme Court.
The candidates should keep track of the official website for further counselling schedules. The counselling will be done through the Director of Medical Education only. Therefore, they should not take admission through any institute or person claiming admission.
Eligibility –
1. Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG 2022.
2. Candidates must have the domicile of Chhattisgarh (Differ for Management/NRI/Other Quota)
3. Candidates must have passed MBBS from an NMC Recognized Medical College.
4. The candidates must have completed one year of Mandatory Internship on or before 31st July 2022.
All admissions shall be made based on the NEET-PG Exam conducted by NBE. NEET PG counselling 2022 is being undertaken through central centralized counselling based on the general combined merit list and as per the seat matrix and reservation roster.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.
The Directorate of Medical Education is an administrative body of Chattisgarh. The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
