DME Gujarat Announces List Of Documents Required For NEET Admissions
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced the list of documents required for the admission process of NEET UG 2023 [Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC)].
As per the notice, this is only for the purpose of information for students appearing in NEET-UG-2023 and likely to be registered for admission for the academic year 2023-24.
The following are the documents required –
1. Standard 10th (SSC) mark-sheet
2. Standard 12th (HSC) mark-sheet
3. NEET-UG-2023 mark-sheet
4. Proof of Birth Place - School Leaving Certificate (preferable)/ Transfer Certificate (certificate must contain place of birth; Also required for caste verification)/ Birth certificate/ Indian Passport
5. Proof of Birth Date - School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate/Birth certificate/Indian passport/Standard 10th (SSC) mark-sheet
6. For Candidates Born Outside Gujarat - Domicile certificate issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat
7. For Scheduled Caste (SC) candidate - Certificate belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat on that behalf
8. For Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidate - Certificate belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat on that behalf
9. For Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates - Certificate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, as per the prevailing policy of the Government of Gujarat issued on or after 01.04.2021. Both certificates issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in that behalf
10. For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidate - Certificate belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat on that behalf on or after 01.04.2021
11. For Person with Disability (PwD) candidate - Certificate of Disability issued by the authority empowered by the Government
12. For the local candidates of Ahmedabad - The certificate of the local candidates from the Dean of Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad (It will be issued only after publication of NEET-UG-2023 results)
13. For the local candidate of Surat - The certificate of the local candidate from the Dean of Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research, Surat(It will be issued only after publication of NEET-UG-2023 results)
14. For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates - OCI card issued by the competent authority of the Central Government of India (Only for NRI Quota admission)
15. Certificate Physical Fitness - Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed form obtained from a registered medical practitioner (M.B.B.S/MD/MS) along with the undertaking. The prescribed form will be available on the official website of ACPUGMEC.
16. Sons and daughters of defense personnel - Domicile certificate of defense personnel issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat and Bonafide certificate issued by the competent authority
17. Sons and daughters of IAS/IPS/IRS personnel - Details of Original Posting in Gujarat State & thereafter current transfer order
18. Students who passed 12th from Jawahar Navoday Vidhyalaya outside Gujarat State - Passing marksheet of Std.1st to Std.8th issued from School Located in Gujarat State
19. Students who passed std. 12th from Gujarat Board of Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli - Std.12th Marksheet of Gujarat Board & Domicile certificate issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat
DME has further notified that the candidates must be Std.10th & 12th must be passed from the school located within Gujarat State except those candidates who have taken admission in Std.10th from the school located Outside Gujarat State before 23rd June 2017 and passed Std.10th Outside Gujarat State.
