DME Gujarat Begins 3rd Online Mop Up Round For PG Medical, Dental Admissions
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) announced the schedule for 3rd online mop-up round for PG Medical and Dental admission. Non reported candidates list for round 2 has also been released.
Detailed schedule –
1. 3rd Online Mop Up Round Choice Filling – till 21/11/2022 12:00 noon
2. Display of Choices filled by candidates - 21/11/2022 up to 12.00 midnight
Guidelines for Choice filling –
1. Online Allotment of seats done based on merit cum choice. So it is merit cum choice-based Allotment.
2. Choice can be based on the criteria: Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice based on fees.
3. In the choice filling of the Second round, Choices available for candidates/Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of the first round.
4. If a candidate cannot secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons, such candidate shall not be eligible to get admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counseling.
5. Options are - Available Choice: the candidates can see all available choices; fill Choice: to start the Choice filling process; print filled Choice: after locking choices, you can take a printout of the choice list.
6. Available Choice: the candidate can see all available choices.
7. Please check annual fees and term fees.
8. Candidates must pay term fees at the time of admission in case of NRI admission Rs. 10 lakh DD in favor of "ACPUGMEC," payable at Gandhinagar.
9. Filter choices by branch, subject, institute type, seat type, and institute.
10. Add choices. Candidates can add an unlimited number of choices.
11. Candidates can move and delete choices according to their preferences.
12. Candidates can re-arrange their choices by serial number.
13. Fill Choice: you can add choices from the left side panel to the right side.
14. Blue: Govt. Institute / Green: SFI institute.
15. GQ: Government Quota/ MQ: Management Quota/ NQ: NRI quota.
16. After saving and exiting the choices page, candidates can review their choices.
17. Click on modify choices to modify choices.
18. After typing 14-digit PIN no., candidates can lock their choices.
19. The candidates must take printouts of their locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will only consider locked print-out choices.
20. The candidates can again Un-Lock choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. to modify the choices.
21. If candidates fail to lock choices, they will be automatically locked on the last day.
Process for participation –
1. The candidates, who have not been allotted any seat OR allotted seat but not confirmed OR confirmed their admission but canceled their admission before round 2 of admission, can participate in the 3rd Online mop-up round. i.e., all the candidates who are included in the Latest Merit-list of ACPPGMEC can participate in 3rd online mop-up round of ACPPGMEC except the candidates who have reported/joined & secured admission in 50% AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities/AFMC (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) seats OR DNB seats OR Seats of Gujarat state counseling OR Other state counseling.
2. The candidates who want to participate in the third and subsequent rounds must give online consent for participation in the 3rd online mop-up round. Otherwise, the candidate will not be considered during the allotment process.
3. To participate in the 3rd online mop-up round, the candidates must log into the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User ID and Password to give online consent for participation in that round.
4. According to the student's merit, the seats available for admission in the 1st & 2nd rounds will not be available in the 3rd online mop-up round or any subsequent rounds. The candidates are advised to see the Last Rank of Results of 1st & the 2nd rounds on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org.
5. The candidates can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices of the 1st/2nd round.
6. The candidate has to take print of the allotment order of the 3rd online mop-up round, pay the tuition fees/difference of tuition fees, if any, and report to the help center to get an admission order. New admission is canceled if they don't report to the help center within the stipulated time. Hence in this scenario, they do not have admission to any seat.
7. According to Rule No. 12 (viii) (Merit Closure Rule) of PG Admission Rules-2018, in the 3rd Online MOP UP round, the candidate will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of 1st/2nd Round irrespective of his choice filling.

A total of 60 seats are allotted for 3rd online mop-up round.
Non-converted MD/MS/diploma round-2 seats due to reduced cutoff – 43 seats.
