DME Gujarat begins choice filling for Round 3 NEET Counselling

DME Gujarat begins choice filling for Round 3 NEET Counselling

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced the schedule of 3rd round of online choice filling for all the eligible candidates who are included in the merit list for NEET UG (MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS) courses.

Round 2 canceled seat list (MBBS, BDS), non-reported list (MBBS, BDS), updated seat matrix for BAMS, BHMS, merit list, and not eligible candidates list have been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. 3rd Round Choice Filling – up to 16/09/2023 03:00 pm

2. Display of Choices filled by candidates – up to 16/09/2023 up to 12:00 midnight

3. Processing for Seat allotment - 17/09/2023 & 18/09/2023

Guidelines for choice filling –

Online allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council.

Choice can be decided by the candidate on the following criteria –

1. Course of choice

2. Institute/Place of choice

3. Government or Self-financed Institute

4. Tuition fees

Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of the institute’s status (permitted /recognized) so that during the process of allotment if any institute gets permission, the candidates can get admission in that seat.

Click on the “Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy” tab under “Undergraduate Admission”. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on the “Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic” button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “Candidate Registration/Login”. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Enter your USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14-digit PIN, Captcha, and click on the Submit button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “CHOICE DETAILS”. 3 options will be displayed as below –

1. Available Choice: The candidates can see all available choices

2. Fill Choice: to start the filling process

3. Print-Filled Choice: After locking the choices, the candidates can take the printout of their choice list

Click on “Available Choice” to start the process of choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

CHOICE AVAILABLE: The candidates can see all available choices. They can filter out the choice based on options as under –

1. Branch: MEDICAL/ DENTAL/AYURVEDA/HOMEOPATHY

2. Institute Type: GOV/ SFI/GIA

3. Seat Type: GOVERNMENT SEAT (GQ) / MANAGEMENT SEAT (MQ) / NRI SEAT (NQ)

Click on “Fill Choice” to start the process of choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Filter your choices by Branch, institute, institute type, and seat type –

1. Branch: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS

2. Institute type: Blue colour – Govt. and Gant-in-aid Institute; Green colour – Self-financed institute

3. Seat type: GQ - Government Seat, MQ: Management Seat, NQ: NRI Seat

Add your choices: the candidates can add an unlimited number of choices

The candidates can re-arrange their choices by serial number

The candidates can delete all filled choices and can start choosing new choices again

Click “add” in the left-side panel The choice will be shifted to the right-side panel

SAVE CHOICE: To save filled choices

SAVE & EXIT: To save filled choices and exit from the choice filling page

After save and exit the choices page, the candidates can review their choices. Click on “Modify Choices” to modify their choices. After typing 14-digit PIN no., they can lock their choices after clicking on “Lock Choices”.

Candidate must take print-out of locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will consider print-outs of locked choices only.

The candidates can Unlock and modify their filled choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. Till the time and date decided by ACPUGMEC.

If the candidates fail to lock choices, it will be automatically locked on the last day of choice filling.

Process for participation for 3rd round –

All the candidates, included in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, can participate in 3rd round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidate of the previous round. If any candidate has not taken part in the 2nd round in ACPUGMEC, can also do fresh registration in round-03 and participate in the 3rd round choice filling.

To participate in the third round, the candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User ID and Password to give online consent for participation in the third round. If the candidate who has confirmed the admission of the previous round and has given consent to participate in the third round, has been allotted a new different seat, the admission of the first or second round will get automatically canceled.

If a candidate takes part in the 3rd round of ACPUGMEC and his/her admission is not upgraded, then his/her admission to the 2nd round will be continued. Such candidates cannot cancel their admission & they must study compulsorily in the admitted course & college. (For MBBS & BDS courses only).

The candidate, who has participated or not participated in the 3rd Round, the admission of the previous round can also be upgraded in the same college by change of admission category (i.e., ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat) or change of quota (General Quota to Local Quota {in case of NHL & SMIMER}), there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.
