DME Gujarat Begins Round 2 Admission Cancellation Process for PG Medical Courses
Gujarat- The Director of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has started the process of cancellation of admissions of Round 2 for MD, MS and Diploma courses from today. Candidates who have confirmed their admission in the 1st/2nd Round of PG Medical (MD/MS/Diploma) Courses after paying the tuition fees and submitting the original documents and want to cancel their admission can do so from today.
Candidates who have secured their admission in the 1st/2nd Round of PG Medical (MD/MS/Diploma) Courses after paying tuition fees in the designated branch of Axis Bank and submitting original documents at the Help Centre, and wish to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission from today i.e. 27th January 2025, 10.00 AM to 29th January 2025, 3:00 PM at the Help Centre where the candidate has submitted the original documents for confirmation of admission.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION CANCELLATION
1 The candidates, who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, want to cancel the admission, they will have to go to the admission-reported Help Center, in in-person.
2 The same seat will be also available to such candidates for the subsequent round of admission and candidates can take part in subsequent rounds of counselling.
3 If a candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representatives must bring the “Authority Letter” signed by the candidate to the Help Center. Without an Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won’t be able to collect the documents. The authority letter is available on page 2 of this document.
4 The candidates have to submit the following documents and can then collect the original documents-
i An application to cancel the admission.
ii Original admission order of ACPPGMEC.
iii Fee receipt/ challan - Xerox copy.
iv Self-attested Xerox-copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere.
v ID Proof - Xerox copy.
vi Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents).
5 Fees will be adjusted if the candidate takes admission in 3rd round.
6 Fees will be refunded after completion of the admission process if the candidate does not take any admission.
