DME Gujarat Releases Round 4 Vacancy List for MD/MS 2025-26; 96 Seats Remain Vacant

Gujarat- The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has released the updated list of vacant seats after Round 4 reporting for MD/MS, Diploma, and DNB admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The vacancy list detailing the availability of seats across government and self-financed medical colleges in the state.
According to the vacancy list, a total of 96 seats remain vacant after the completion of Round 4 counselling. These include 94 seats in MD/MS programmes and 2 seats in diploma courses. The vacancies are distributed across different quotas, with 79 seats under the Government Quota (GQ), 16 under the Management Quota (MQ), and 1 seat under the Institutional Quota (UQ).
Among the postgraduate medical specialities, the highest number of vacancies has been reported in Physiology (18 seats), followed by Community Medicine (12 seats) and Anatomy (12 seats). Other disciplines with remaining seats include Microbiology (9), Pathology (7), Anaesthesiology (5), Forensic Medicine (5), Paediatrics (3), General Surgery (3), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (3), and Otorhinolaryngology/ENT (3).
Smaller numbers of vacancies are also available in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and Palliative Medicine.
The vacancy list also includes two diploma seats, one each in Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.O.) and Diploma in Public Health (D.P.H.) under the Government Quota. The detailed college-wise distribution shows that the vacant seats are spread across multiple institutions under various quotas, including Government Quota and Management Quota.
