DME MP Informs on Resignation, Upgradation, Last Date Of Admission For NEET Round 1 Admissions
Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) informed about resignation, upgradation, and last date of admission for NEET UG round 1 admission.
As per the notice, the candidates allotted seats in round 1 can join till 7.11.2022 (06:00 PM).
For all admitted candidates of the first round, the last date for resigning from the admitted seat without seat leaving bond liability has been extended till 13.11.2022 (06:00 PM). The resignation will be online at the admitted college level. The last date of upgradation also has been extended till 13.11.2022 (06:00 PM).
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, is responsible for conducting the MP NEET UG 2022 admission. The DME will conduct NEET UG 2022 counseling for 85% of state quotas in government colleges as well as 100% of seats in private colleges. The remaining 15% of seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through centralized counseling in 2022.
A total of 8823 seats were allocated for MBBS and BDS courses for round 1. MBBS course has 6243 seats, and the BDS course has 2580 seats. The seat matrix was released for Government Autonomous Medical College, Govt. Autonomous Medical & Dental College, Private Medical College, and Private Dental College.
Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2022.
2. The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.
3. The candidates must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
4. The candidates have to be NEET UG qualified.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) has been conducted by NTA since 2019 for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and MHRD.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in the state.
Recently, the Medical Dialogues team reported that DME declared the list of eligible candidates for the second round and revised the merit list after lowering the cutoff percentile for NEET MDS admission. The merit list is released for the candidates registered for the NEET MDS counseling and found eligible for it. Candidates included in this list are the only ones to participate in the counseling process.
