DME Tamil Nadu Announces Mop Round Counselling Schedule For PG Medical Admissions

DME Tamil Nadu Announces Mop Round Counselling Schedule For PG Medical Admissions

Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced mop round counseling schedule for PG Medical admission.

PG Medical management quota including NRI & minority category in self-financing medical colleges –

1. Registration / Payment /Choice Locking – till 20.11.2022, 5:00 pm (ALL ELIGIBLE NRI CANDIDATES)

2. Choice Locking (NRI) - 21.11.2022 10:00 am - 22.11.2022 5.00 pm

3. Management and minority category – Registration / Payment /Choice Locking (Management ) - till 22.11.2022 5.00 pm [FROM GR 001 TO GR 3362 (UNALLOTTED ONLY)]

4. Result - Will be announced later (As AIQ Mop-up results are pending)

5. Download Of Provisional Allotment Order - Will be announced later

6. Reporting Time - Will be announced later

PG Medical government medical colleges and government quota seats in self-financing medical colleges –

1. Registration / Payment /Choice Locking – till 22.11.2022, 5:00 pm [From GR 001 to GR 7261 (UNALLOTTED ONLY)]

2. Result - Will be announced later (As AIQ Mop-up results are pending)

3. Download Of Provisional Allotment Order - Will be announced later

4. Reporting Time - Will be announced later

Instructions –

1. Since this is mop-up counseling, if any PG seat is allotted to the candidate according to their choice filling, they should join without fail. If the allotted candidates do not join in this mop-up counseling, they will not be Page 2 of 5 allowed to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round and will also have to pay the penalty. For PG Degree Course Rs.15 lakh. For PG Diploma Course Rs.10 lakh.

2. The candidates willing to participate in this counseling must register.

3. Candidates participating in online counseling for PG Degree/ Diploma course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1000 as a processing fee online by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card. The candidates who have already paid the processing fee need not pay again.

4. Management quota - Candidates should pay a Security Deposit of Rs.200000 online via net banking. The candidates who have already paid Security Deposit need not pay again.

5. Government quota - Choice locking of seats in Government Medical Colleges alone – Rs.30000, Choice locking of seats in Government Medical Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Medical Colleges – Rs. 100000

6. Only candidates registered and filled their choices in the mop-up round will be eligible for the stray vacancy round if they are not allotted in the mop round. Hence candidates who wish to participate in the stray vacancy round are instructed to register in the mop-up round.

7. If the candidates are getting an allotment under the government /government quota in Self-financing colleges in mop-up counseling, they cannot claim a seat in this Management mop-up counseling. Hence candidates are instructed to choose the lock carefully.

8. Selection of candidates for the PG Degree/ Diploma course shall be made by online counseling based on NEET PG Rank.

9. Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned Medical College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission and liable for criminal action if suppression of facts and/or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

10. Candidates should pay the tuition fee online, download their provisional allotment order, and join the course in the concerned Medical Colleges on or before the date and time stipulated during this phase of online counseling.

Eligibility criteria –

Management quota -

1. The candidates who have applied are now eligible after lowering the percentile.

2. The candidates who have not been allotted in Round I and Round II Counselling.

3. The candidates allotted but not joined in Round I & Round II of State Quota and All India Quota are eligible to participate in this counseling.

4. The candidates who have been allotted but discontinued in the stipulated time in Round I of AIQ / State Quota are eligible to participate in this counseling.

Government quota –

1. The candidates who have applied are now eligible after lowering the percentile.

2. The candidates who have not been allotted in Round I and Round II Counselling.

3. The candidates allotted but not joined in Round I & Round II of State Quota and All India Quota are eligible to participate in this counseling.

4. The candidates who have been allotted but discontinued in the stipulated time in Round I of AIQ / State Quota are eligible to participate in this counseling.

Non-eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates who joined All India Quota Round II counseling are not allowed to vacate the seat. Similarly, the candidates who joined Round II of State counseling will not be permitted to vacate/resign/surrender the seat.

2. The candidates who have taken admitted in the second round of allotment or carry the seat allotted in the first round beyond notified date, which is not upgraded in the second round, will not be permitted to vacate the seat.

3. The candidates allotted in the mop-up round of All India Quota/Deemed university/DNB (conducted by NBE) are not eligible to participate in state mop-up counseling and Stray Vacancy round.

Conversion of seats in the mop-up round -

Management quota -

1. If no eligible NRI/Minority candidates opt for PG Degree/Diploma courses, the same will be allotted for general Management category candidates.

Government quota –

2. If no eligible PwD candidates opt for PG Degree/Diploma courses, the same will be allotted to eligible general category candidates.

3. If no eligible service candidates opt for PG Degree/Diploma courses, the same will be allotted to eligible general category candidates.

4. Any remaining unfilled seats for want of the adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to the SCA community shall be filled by candidates belonging to the SC community as per merit and vice versa (GO (Ms.) No. 55, P & A R Dept. dated 08.04.2010). Hence SC candidates can register and choose a lock for SCA seats also.

5. Any remaining reserved seats in the ST quota for want of the adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to the ST community shall be allotted to candidates belonging to the SC community as per merit (G.O. (Ms.) No. 77 H & FW Dept. dated 24.02.2011. Hence SC candidates can register and choose a lock for ST seats also.

6. Any remaining unfilled seats in the BCM community for want of an adequate number of eligible candidates after exhausting the merit list shall be filled up on a merit basis by candidates belonging to the BC community without exceeding the quota for the BC community as a whole(GO (Ms.) No. 30 H & FW Dept. dated18.01.2012). Hence BC candidates can register and choose a lock for BCM seats also.

Documents to be submitted –

Management quota –

1. NEET PG-2022-Score Card.

2. NEET P G - 2022 Admit Card.

3. Aadhar Card

4. MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate and Diploma certificate.

5. CRRI Completion Certificate.

6. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

7. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

8. A copy of the receipt of payment of the Tuition fee.

9. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6"), the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET PG-2022.

Candidates who are seeking admission under Minority Category should produce the following documents along with the above original certificates -

1. Minority Certificate

2. Nativity certificate of the candidate

3. Community certificate of the parent (Not applicable for forwarding community)

4. Study certificate of the parent

Candidates who are seeking admission under NRI Category should produce the following documents along with the above original certificates -

1. NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal.

2. Certificate of Relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate issued by the competent authority and valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.

3. NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.

4. Evidence for payment of Development charges of US $1000/- to the college by the NRI financial supporter (One-time payment at the time of admission only).

Government quota –

1. NEET PG-2022-Score Card.

2. NEET P G - 2022 Admit Card.

3. Aadhar Card

4. MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate and Diploma certificate.

5. CRRI Completion Certificate.

6. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

7. Community Certificate (if applicable)

8. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.

9. Nativity Certificate (if applicable) with supportive documents.

10. Recent Regional Medical Board Certificate for Persons with Disabilities.

11. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

12. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6"), the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET PG-2021.
