DME Tamil Nadu Invites Online Application For SS Admission for In-Service Candidates, details
The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) invited online applications for admission to super specialty courses for in-service candidates.
Detailed schedule –
1. Last date for online submission of application - 8.12.2022 up to 5.00 pm
2. Tentative date of Declaration of rank - 10.12.2022
3. Tentative date of counseling - 12.12.2022
The online submission of the application form for admission to super specialty courses 2022-2023 session in Government Medical Colleges can be accessed from the following websites –
1. www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in
2. www.tnmedicalselection.org
In service, candidates should submit their filled-in online application form after uploading the details in the required fields. The candidates must pay Rs 5000 (Nonrefundable) through Debit Card, Credit Card,/ Net Banking. Necessary facilities have been provided for payment through nationalized banks via the bank payment portal. Candidates must note that a mere fee deduction from the Bank account is not proof of fee payment.
Service candidates should take the printout of the service form and fill in the service particulars (Duly certified by the Forwarding Authority with date and seal) and upload the same along with the online application. Medical Officers working in any Government institution should get their filled-in online Service Proforma and application form forwarded only through the proper channel with the remarks of the Forwarding Authorities in the format prescribed in the application form. Otherwise, the application will be summarily rejected.
Procedure For Filling & Submission Of Application –
Candidates should submit their filled-in online application form by uploading the details in the required fields after submission request for change in any particulars in the online application shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
Candidates should submit only one application form. If a candidate submits more than one application form, their candidature will be canceled.
Candidates should ensure that all information entered in the online application is true and correct during the online submission of the application form. The application will be rejected if found later that the candidate has given the wrong information. If found after the admission, the said candidate will be withdrawn from the grant of the seat and treated as a discontinued seat per clause 20 of the prospectus.
The Selection Committee, on receipt of the filled-in online applications, will assign AR Number (Application Registration Number).
Documents to be uploaded along with the application form –
1. NEET SS 2022-Admit Card
2. NEET SS 2022 Score Card
3. MBBS Degree Certificate and Post Graduate Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate
4. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council or provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council
5. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order
6. Eligibility Certificate obtained from TN Dr.MGR Medical University – candidates who did Broad Speciality PG in other Universities
7. The same photo of that uploaded in NEET SS 2022 must be uploaded in the filled-in online application
8. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6") (size: 50kb to 300kb) to be uploaded
9. Aadhar Card/Driving License /Voter ID
Candidates note that they will have to produce the above-mentioned original Certificates/ Documents at the time of admission. All the guidelines issued by the Medical Counselling Committee and Director General of Health Service will be applicable then and there.
Eligibility Criteria -
1. Candidates should be Citizens of India.
2. Candidates must be in-service candidates of Tamil Nadu, and their service should have been regularized, refer to clause 6.
3. The candidates who are not native of Tamil Nadu and should have done MBBS and PG in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. But Candidates must be in-service candidates of Tamil Nadu and should have completed a minimum of five years of Government Service as of 31.3.2022.
4. Candidates seeking admission to Super Speciality Courses must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-NEET SS 2022 conducted by the National Board of Examination. The eligibility criteria prescribed by the Director General of Health Services, Government of India, New Delhi, in accordance with Post Graduate Medical.
5. Education Regulations (as per the latest amendment) notified by the Board of Governors, In supersession of the National Medical Commission with prior approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, shall be taken into account for admission to Super Speciality Course in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2022-2023.
6. The candidates should have completed MD/MS/DNB courses on or before 31.7.2022.
Non Eligibility -
1. Candidates undergoing a Super Speciality Course in Tamil Nadu are not eligible to apply for any Super Speciality Courses in Tamil Nadu.
2. Candidates who have already completed a Super Speciality Course /Equivalent Course are not eligible to apply for admission to any other Super Speciality Course in Tamil Nadu.
3. Non-Service Candidates cannot apply for admission to Super Speciality Course in Tamil Nadu for State Quota.
Candidates working in Institutions coming under the "Registered Societies Act" and "Self Financing Institutions" shall not be considered Service candidates.
The following categories of Medical Officers will be treated as Service Candidates for allotment of seats –
1. Medical Officers selected by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC)/Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) through a Competitive Written Examination/Special Qualifying Examination and appointed in Tamil Nadu Medical Services should have completed Two Years of continuous service, as on 31.03.2022.
Candidates who have been temporarily appointed but not qualified through a Written Examination conducted by TNPSC/MRB and who have not completed two years of continuous service as of 31.03.2022 as per clause 7 (a) (i) of this prospectus are not eligible to apply for Super Speciality Course 2022-2023 session. If applications are received from such candidates or even forwarded inadvertently by the competent authority, that application will be summarily rejected.
Competent authorities who forward the applications of Government Medical officers have to issue a complete Service Particular Proforma, including their leave and deputation in detail; if not, the application will be summarily rejected.
Rank List -
2. The rank list will be drawn based on marks obtained in NEET SS -2022.
3. The Secretary Selection Committee will publish the tentative rank list on the following official websites after scrutinizing all applications received for the academic year 2022-2023. www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in/www.tnmedicalselection.org.
Counseling Process –
1. Online counseling will be conducted as per National Medical commission guidelines and will be updated on the websites then and there.
2. Admission to super specialty courses will be made online counseling based on merit only, and no communal reservation will be followed.
3. The candidates who have taken a seat and not joined /discontinued the course within the stipulated time in the first round of counseling are eligible to attend further rounds of counseling.
4. Mutual transfer/ Individual request for college transfer will not be permitted under any circumstances.
5. Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned Medical College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
6. If any suppression of facts is found later, the selection/admission will be liable for cancellation during or after the admission to the course based on the Declaration. Further, the candidates will not be allowed to apply for the super specialty courses for the subsequent two academic years.
7. Unauthorized absence of candidates for fifteen days after joining reporting date of the course will be treated as 'discontinued.' That vacancy will be filled by the Selection Committee depending on the availability of time as per National Medical Commission guidelines. If the period of absence is beyond the second round of counseling, the candidate must pay the discontinuation fee as per clause 21(c) of this prospectus.
8. Candidates Participating in counseling for Super Speciality Course will have to remit a nonrefundable amount of Rs 1000/- as a processing fee by the Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Secretary, Selection Committee payable at Chennai -10
9. Allotted in-service candidates who discontinue the course on or after the last round of joining date should pay the Discontinuation Fees mentioned in clause 26( b)besides foregoing tuition fees already paid by them as specified in Clause 26 (a)to the Deans of the respective Colleges, the sum as specified below in total by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai – 10", payable at Chennai.
10. Unless the discontinuation above fee as a penalty amount is paid in total, the candidates will not be relieved, and the concerned institutions will retain original certificates produced by the candidates at the time of admission.
Method Of Selection And Admission –
1. Seats in Government Medical Colleges University: Out of the seats sanctioned for Higher Speciality Courses, 50% of the total recognized/permitted seats are offered to All India Quota for allotment by the Director General of Health Services, New Delhi. The remaining 50% of the seats will be allotted to inservice candidates in State Quota.
2. 50% of the in-service Super Speciality seats would be filled based on the NEET marks.
3. Allotment will be made only for the seats affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University and for the Academic Year 2022-2023 session. Seats approved by the respective University for Higher Speciality Course in Tamil Nadu for the 2022-2023 session will be displayed before the counseling.
The candidates should produce the following original certificates at the time of joining their selected Medical College along with the scanned copy of original certificates to the concerned Medical Colleges –
1. NEET SS 2022-Admit Card
2. NEETSS 2022 Score Card
3. MBBS Degree Certificate and Post Graduate Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate
4. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council or provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council
5. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order
6. Eligibility Certificate
7. A copy of the receipt of payment
8. the Same photo of that uploaded in NEET SS 2022 must be uploaded in the filled-in online application
9. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6") (size: 50kb to 300kb) to be uploaded
10. Aadhar Card/Driving License/Voter ID
Fee Details -
1. Tuition Fee per annum – Rs 30000 (Nonrefundable).
2. Discontinuation Fees: Rs.2000000
The selected candidates must pay any balance of the Tuition Fee (if any) and other special fees etc., at the time of admission to their respective colleges.
Stipend - Service Candidates will be paid a salary per the Government Orders issued by Government from time to time if the candidates are selected for super specialty courses in the Government Medical Colleges.
Security Amount - All Service Candidates of Tamil Nadu having more than two years of service after completing the super specialty courses will have to execute a bond for a sum of ₹5000000 as a security amount with the undertaking that they will serve the Government of Tamil Nadu till Superannuation with three sureties.
