DME Tamil Nadu Releases Tentative Mop-Up Round Counselling Schedule For MBBS, BDS Admission

DME Tamil Nadu Releases Tentative Mop-Up Round Counselling Schedule For MBBS, BDS Admission

Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced the tentativmop-upup counselling schedule for government quota (7.5%), government quota, and management quota for MBBS and BDS admissions seatat matrix has also been released.

The detailed schedule for all the quotas –

1. Choice filling – till 14.12.200, 5:00 pm

2. Result – 15.12.2022

3. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order and Reporting – 15.12.2022 – 17.12.2022, 5:00 pm

Eligibility government quota (7.5%) –

1. A candidate not holding any MBBS/BDS seats under All India Quota and State Quota will be allowed to participate in State Quota mop-up counselling.

Eligibility government and management quota –

2. A candidate not holding any MBBS/BDS seats under All India Quota and State Quota (Government / Management/ NRI) will be allowed to participate in State Quota mop-up counselling.

3. The candidates who participated in the round- I and Round –II (incl. Revised Round- II) were t not- allotted any seats and are eligible for State Quota mop-up counselling.

4. The candidates allotted a seat in round- I and Not-join Resigned the seat before 16.11.2022 @ 3:00 pm aparticipatedted in Round- II (incl. Revised Round- II) but not-allotted any seat are eligible to State Quota mop-up counselling.

5. The candidates who were allotted a seat in round- I and a Not-joined/ Resigned seat before 16.11.2022 @ 3:00 pm and participated in Round- II (incl. Revised Round- II) are eligible for State Quota mop-up counselling).

Non-eligibility –

1. A candidate joined under All India Quota or State Quota in the previous rounds will not be allowed to State Quota mop-up counselling.

2. If the candidate discontinues / Not-joined the course after completion of Round II of online counselling will not be eligible to attend the mop-up round of online counselling.

3. A candidate not registered in the first round of online counselling will not be permitted to attend the mop-up online counselling.

4. Candidates whose names are in the allotted list provided by MCC at the end of the mop-up round.

Instructions –

1. No processing fee, security deposit and tuition fee for 7.5% Spl. Reservation for Tamil Nadu Govt. School Students

2. Candidates should be careful while choice filling and it is advisable to choose preferred colleges only.

3. 3. Once the candidate locks their choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later.

4. Request for college change from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised.

5. Registered and choice-locked candidates in the mop-up round are only eligible to participate in Stray vacancy round. The choices exercised by the candidates during the mop-up round will be considered as their choices for the mop-up-up and Stray Vacancy round. Hence candidates who wish to participate in the stray vacancy round are advised to register and lock their choices in the mop-up round.

6. If the candidates are getting a seat in MBBS/BDS course in mop-up of government quota counselling, they will not be allotted a seat if management/ minority/ NRI lapsed quota counselling.

7. If the candidates are allotted during State mop-up round, they must join the allotted college. Allotted candidates during the mop-up round will not be eligible for the subsequent state (Selection committee) online stray vacancy round.

8. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

9. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and / or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

10. 10. The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

11. The selected candidate has to pay a non-refundable tuition fee for downloading the allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS.

12. Government quota - The candidates who have been allotted but not-joined the course will have to forfeit the Processing Fee / Security Deposit & Tuition Fee and also have to pay the penalty fee as per the prospectus clause 14 IV (f).

Available seats for mop-up for government and management quota -

1. Non-allotted seats after Round II of Counselling

2. Seats vacant due to not joining / discontinuation by the candidate(s) allotted after Round II (incl. Revised Round-II) of Counselling

Conversion of seat management quota -

Minority Seats will be allotted for Eligible Minority Candidates as per Minority Merit List. If there are any unfilled Minority seats in SF MBBS/BDS, such seats will be filled as per General Management Rank List. Hence, all candidates can also register chooseoice lock for Management and Minority Seats.

The candidates should produce their following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of the original certificates for certificate verification –

1. Provisional allotment order

2. NEET UG-2022 Admit Scorecardcard

3. Std X Mark Sheet

4. Std XI & XII Mark Sheet

5. Transfer Certificate

6. Community Certificate (BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/ SC/SCA/ST)

7. Nativity Certificate (if any)

8. Income Certificate (if any)

9. Aadhar Card

10. Passport Size Photo (10 Nos.)

11. Eligibility Certificate (Other than Central Board and State Board Candidates)
