DME Tripura Announces Conduction Of NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round At RIMS, Imphal On 19th October
Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has announced the conduction of the stray vacancy round for admission to NEET PG courses at RIMS, Imphal, for the academic year 2023-24.
As per the notice, the stray vacancy round will be conducted on 19th October 2023 in the Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal, from 10.30 am onwards. All the candidates need to report at 9 am with the original documents. All the interested candidates who have not been allotted seats in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds of State Counselling/AIQ Counselling can participate in the counselling.
No fresh applicants will be allowed to participate in the counselling. The selected candidates need to get themselves admitted on the spot soon after the counselling.

16 seats are vacant for stray vacancy. The open (non-sponsored) category has 1 seat, and the in-service (sponsored) category has 15 seats.

The PG medical admissions are based on the NEET PG score, choices made, and the number of seats vacant. The Directorate of Medical Education conducts the NEET PG counselling in the state. The Directorate of Medical Education under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura, started its functioning on 15th October 2011. This Directorate deals with matters relating to Medical Education, like Medical Colleges, Regional Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges in Government and Private Sector, Nursing Education, Paramedical Education etc. This Directorate conducts the postgraduate courses in respect of some medical colleges.
