DME Tripura Announces Extension Date Of Resignation For Round 2 NEET counselling
Tripura: The scheduled period of the registration for round -2 of Tripura NEET UG 2022 counselling for distribution of State domicile MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, 86 BA LP seats at various institutions and outside the State of Tripura and All India seats, other than Tripura Domicile at Tripura Medical College ) is being extended up to 9th November 2022. The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) announced this through a written notice.
The details related to the PWD (UR) seat at Agartala Govt of Medical College (AGMC) have also been released.
As per the notice, since a mandatory security deposit is a must to participate in Round 2, all the candidates are again reminded to upload the scanned copy of the transaction documents( Demand Draft in favour of DME/ sank deposit counter foil) within the 9th November 2022 and also arrange to submit the original copy of the same to the office of the Director of Medical Education.
The physical draft/bank deposit counter foil in favour of the Directorate of Medical Education must be submitted physically at the office of the DME during the schedule, which is also being extended up to 11th November 2022 to 2:00 pm. Account Number /Name of Bank/ Branch Name /IFSC Code etc., are all displayed on the DME. Website separately.
Further, DME has informed that onePWDD URR.) State quota seat will be added to the seat matrix of Round 2 of Tripura State NEET UG 2022 Counselling for distribution through Round 2 online counselling at Agartala Govt of Medical College (AGMC). The other seats published in the seat matrix dated 05/11/2022 will remain the same.
The availability of one BHMS State quota seat at Midnapore Homoeo Medical College, Midnapore, as was published in the notification dated 05/11/2022, is earmarked as a UR. Seat.
Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates must be Indian Citizens and Permanent residents of Tripura.
2. Children of All India Services Officers borne in Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the Counseling irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
3. In case the candidates are not permanent residents of Tripura, but their parent is either on deputation as an Officer/employee to the Govt. of Tripura or an Officer/employee of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for three years or more before appearing in the qualifying examination from any School/Institute of Tripura.
4. In the case of wards of Ex-servicemen, either the candidate or their parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than five years immediately before the date of making the application for appearing at the NEET Examination.
5. Children of serving Defense Personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) hailing from Tripura are also allowed to appear for Counseling, provided that their children should have stayed in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 (five) years immediately before the date of making application for appearing at the NEET.
