DME Tripura Releases NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Seat Matrix. check details
Tripura- Director of Medical Education (DME) Tripura has released the seat matrix of State National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) stray vacancy round counselling for the academic year 2024-25. Along with this, DME Tripura has also released the seat matrix of the State quota Post MBBS diploma seats at IGM Hospital, Agartala for eligible in-service candidates.
The Stray Vacancy Round of Tripura State NEET PG 2024 Counselling, the seat matrix available is for PG (MD/MS) courses at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) & Tripura Medical College (TMC) for state quota/domicile candidates. Post MBBS Diploma courses at IGM Hospital for eligible in-service doctors of the state of Tripura. PG (MD/MS) courses at Tripura Medical College (TMC) for candidates who passed MBBS from AGMC or TMC, irrespective of their domicile status.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 12 seats are available across 9 courses for the NEET PG stray vacancy round Counselling 2024-25. Meanwhile, a total of 2 seats are available for eligible in-service candidates for state quota Post-MBBS Diploma seats at IGM Hospital, Agartala. These seats are available in Family Medicine, D.Fam Med, NBEMS disciplines. Of these, Community Medicine has the highest number of seats available at 3, followed by Physiology with 2 seats. However, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology and Pharmacology have the least number of seats available at 1 each.

The Directorate of Medical Education under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura started its functioning on 15th October 2011. This Directorate deals with matters relating to Medical Education, like Medical Colleges, Regional Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges in Government and Private Sector, Nursing Education, Paramedical Education etc. The postgraduate courses in respect of some medical colleges are conducted by this Directorate.
