DME Tripura Releases Seat Matrix For NEET Counselling Round 2, 70 seats available for MBBS, BDS candidates
Tripura: Through a recent notice, the Director of Medical Education (DME) has released the seat matrix of round 2, details regarding the security deposit of NEET-UG 2021 counselling, MBBS seats under MoHFW from wards COVID warriors deceased.
Seat matrix of round 2 of NEET-UG 2021 counselling –
Total seat allotted 74 seats are allotted for MBBS, BDS, BHMS, and BASLP.
Following is the seat matrix –
MBBS – 61
BDS – 9
BHMS – 3
BASLP -1
MoHFW has decided to allot 5 MBBS Seats to Wards of Deceased Covid Warriors for the current academic year 2021. The nominations of candidates shall be made by the Medical Counselling Committee, Directorate General of Health Services. The MCC of DGHS has invited applications from interested and eligible wards of Covid Warriors (Deceased) who have appeared and qualified for the NEET examination for the academic year 2021.
Candidates will have to fill out the application form and all supporting documents, duly certified, in the prescribed format, by the respective Directorate of Medical Education or Directorate of Health Services. Candidates will have to forward it to the official email of ADG (ME) covidmcc@gmail.com within the stipulated time of 10th March 2022.
Only NEET 2021 Qualified and eligible wards of COVID Warriors can apply. Nominations or applications to be routed through respective Director Medical Education or Director of Health Services of concerned States or UTs after scrutiny about their eligibility.
Candidates must state their preference from the following medical colleges, where one seat in each college is made available.

Covid warriors mean public healthcare providers, including community health workers, who may have to be in direct contact with and care of COVID-19 patients and may be at risk of being impacted by this. Private hospital staff and retired/volunteer/local urban bodies/contractual/daily-wage/ad hoc/outsourced staff requisitioned by States/Central hospitals/autonomous hospitals of Central/States/UTs, AIRE and IN1s/Hospitals of Central Ministries drafted .for COVID-I9 related responsibilities are also included.
All the candidates will have to upload a copy of their transactions (RTGS/NEFT/Bank Deposit/ Copy of the Draft) and upload documents in the online application of round-2 of NEET-UG 2021 CounsellinIn addition; they will have to submit the original draft (in draft mode opted) to the Directorate of Medical Education on or before 5th March 2022.
Otherwise, the candidature for participating/allotment of any seat would not be considered. New candidates can submit the registration fees of around 2 in online mode. Registration fees for round 2 will not be applicable for already registered candidates of round 1. But security deposit is mandatory for all candidates to participate in round-2.
