DMER Haryana releases mop-up round Schedule MBBS, BDS admissions 2021, Details

Haryana: Through a recent notification, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Haryana has released the Schedule of Mop Up Round for admission to MBBS BDS Courses session 2021-22.

DMER is conducting the Admission to UG (MBBS/BDS) Courses in Government/Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/Dental Colleges including those under Private Universities - SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, PDM University, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar and Al-Falah University, Dhauj, Faridabad in the State of Haryana for the Academic Session 2021-22.

It is for the information of all the eligible candidates desirous of seeking admission to UG (MBBS/BDS) Courses in Government/Government Aided/ Private Unaided Medical/Dental Colleges including those under Private Universities for the academic session 2021-22 and all other concerned that fresh candidates can register for Mop Up Round for admission to UG courses for the academic session 2021-22. The tentative schedule for 2nd round of counseling is as under –

Physical (offline) allocation of seats to NRI, PWBD, ESM, FF candidates at Pt. B.D Sharma UHS, Rohtak including on the spot document verification and deposition of fee.

(Personal appearance of candidates in front of admission committee is mandatory)

a) The candidates who have already joined on any seat allotted to them through All India Counselling/Any State Counselling shall not be eligible to participate in the Mop-up Round. The candidates will have to give an undertaking regarding the same. The same shall be available in the login ID of the candidates falling which the candidature of the candidates will not be considered.

b) The candidates who have already registered themselves for the first round/second round and are eligible to participate in the Mop-up Round, shall not be required to register again.

c) No Up- gradation of any seat shall be allowed.

d) All candidates and freshly registered candidates} who wish to participate in the Mop Up Round of counseling and want to opt for State Quota Seats in only Government/Government aided Medical/Dental shall be required to deposit online an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rs.5000/- for SC/BC/EWS/PWD of Haryana state) and if the candidate wishes to also opt for State Quota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges including Private Universities then he/she shall have to deposit online an amount of Rs.1.00 Lakh. This facility shall be available in the login ID of the candidates.

In case of failure of any registered candidate to deposit the requisite security amount, they will NOT be considered eligible to participate in the Mop Up Round of counseling.

  • In case the candidates join on the allotted seat, this amount shall be adjusted in the fee of the first year of UG Course.
  • If the candidates are allotted any seat as per their preference, but they do not join on the allotted seat, the security amount shall be forfeited.
  • The Security amount of the candidates who are not allotted seats during the Mop Up Round shall be returned after the completion of the counseling process.
  • Any candidate who had paid security fee in Round 2 but not allocated any seat in the 2nd round need not pay any security fee again.

e) The mop up round for candidates seeking admission under NRI category and PWBD/ESM/FF category shall be held in an Offline mode in Pt. BD Sharma UHS Rohtak. The candidates shall have to bring original documents and deposit requisite tuition fee on the spot failing which their candidature shall not be considered and seat will be allocated to the next candidate in merit. After completion of the physical round for NRI and PWBD/ESM/FF shall be reverted back to their original categories and filled up through online counselling. NRI/PWBD/ESM/FF candidates who have been allotted seat in Physical Mop-up Round will not be eligible to participate in further counselling including online Online Mop Up allocation.

f) After exhaustion of merit list of candidates who have applied under various reserved categories, vacant seats (if any) shall be reverted to their original category of seats and if still there is a vacancy, the same shall be converted to unreserved category seats and filled up in the mop up round itself for both Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges.

g) The seats still remaining vacant after Mop up round shall be filled up in the stray vacancy round.

Note:-

  • The above instructions should be read alongwith the Admission Notification dated 12/01/2022.
  • All candidates seeking admission under NRI category and PWD/ESM/FF category are advised to ensure to be physically present for counselling at Pt. B.D Sharma UHS, Rohtak on the schedule date and time failing which their candidature shall not be considered.
