DMER Maharashtra Announces Schedule For Institutional Round For NEET PG admissions
Maharashtra: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER Maharashtra) announced the schedule for the institutional level round for government /private unaided/corporation colleges and hospitals only for NEET-PG-CPS-2021.
As per the notice, all concerned institutes are instructed to fill their vacant seats from 28th November 2022 – 2nd December 2022. The government of Maharashtra has permitted the process of allotment for filling vacant seats of CPS to the students as per their merit to respective institutes for the academic year 2021-22.
The candidates note that the institutional round is only for government/private unaided CPS colleges/hospitals, and seats remain vacant after the revised, extended personal counseling round of CPS.
Eligibility -
1. Those candidates who are not admitted status as of 27/11/2022 will be eligible for the institutional level round.
2. It will be the institute's responsibility to verify and ascertain the eligibility of the candidates as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidate, even if the name appears in the list of eligible candidates.
Instruction to the candidates -
1. For the institutional round, eligible and interested candidates should approach the Dean/Principle of the respective colleges/Hospitals within the prescribed time and apply for vacant seats in person or any person. Such applications should not be submitted to the Directorate of Medical Education & Research in person or by email. Such applications submitted to the Directorate of Medical Education & Research will not be considered valid for any institutional admission process.
2. At the time of admission during the institutional round, a candidate should submit all his original documents and requisite fees in the form of a DD/Cheque during the prescribed time limit.
3. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to submit all their original documents and requisite fees at the time of admission.
4. If a candidate cannot submit DD due to Bank Holiday, they may pay the fees by Cheque and replace the same on the next Bank working day.
Instruction to the colleges -
1. For admission at the Institution level round, the college/Institution should form a committee of four members under the Chairmanship of the Dean/Principal to supervise the admission process.
2. College should display on its website & notice board vacancy position, applicants list, merit list, list of selected candidates, and waiting list on or before 2nd December.
3. The earmarking rules should be followed if two PG seats in the State quota in the same subject (One in Reserve and the other in Open Category) are available. NEET PG CPS 2021. Information brochure should be referred.
4. The rule of inter-se should be strictly followed if any reserve category seat remains unfilled. Please refer NEET PG CPS 2021 information brochure.
5. The College should upload the information about admitted candidates in the College feedback Module of DMER.
6. All concerned institutes are to report the admission completion report to DMER and CPS as soon as it is completed. All institution admission should be made per the Rules of NEET PG CPS 2021 Information brochure.
