DNB Admissions 2021: TN Health releases schedule, rank list, Check out details

Tamil Nadu: Through a written notice, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has released details regarding tentative round 1 counselling schedule admission to DNB broad specialty post MBBS and post-diploma and post MBBS two year diploma courses for service candidates, provisional rank list DNB broad specialty post-diploma courses, and post MBBS Courses service candidates.

The candidates can make the registration/ payment /choice filling /locking between 12th February 2022 (11:00 am) till 14th February 2022 (5.30 pm). The final result of the round 1 allotment will be released on 15th February 2022, and on the same day can download the provisional allotment order. The candidates can report between 15th February 2022 till 18th February 2022 till 5:00 pm.

All candidates participating in online counselling for DNB broad specialty post MBBS and post-diploma and post MBBS two-year diploma courses will have to remit a non-refundable amount of 1000/- by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.

Candidates belonging to other states are not eligible for Government seats. Candidates have to qualify for the NEET PG 2021 to admission in DNB Broad Specialty Post MBBS Courses (Primary) 2021 session.

Post Diploma (Secondary) seats to be filled by the state. The candidates will have to qualify for DNB PD-CET 2021. The seat matrix will be published on the website.

The admission will happen through online counseling for DNB broad specialty post MBBS and post-diploma and post MBBS two-year diploma courses based on rank and applying the Rule of Reservation / Roster method followed by the Government of Tamil Nadu wherever applicable.

DME has further notified that the candidates who have not registered and choose locking in round 1 of online counselling will not be permitted to the subsequent rounds. Candidates who have taken a seat and not joined the course/ discontinued will not be eligible for the subsequent online counseling rounds.

Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned medical college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

The provisional allotment order can be downloaded only after payment of tuition fees. The order must be downloaded on or before the date and time stipulated during the first phase of online counseling. The tuition fees per annum is Rs.1,47,500/-(Rs.1,25,000 + 18% GST) and this is not refundable. The fee can be paid online via debit card/credit card/net banking. The selected candidates have to pay any balance of the Tuition Fee (if any) and other special fees etc., at the time of admission to their respective colleges.

DME has asked the candidates to submit the original certificates in person when joining their selected institution/medical colleges and the photocopy of original certificates.

List of documents to be submitted –

1. NEET PG score and admit card.

2. Aadhar card.

3. MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional PassCertificate and Diploma Certificate.

4. CRRI Completion Certificate.

5. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India /State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.

6. Community Certificate issued by the competent authority indicating the community status of candidates belonging to Backward Community/Backward Community (Muslim)/ Most Backward Community / Denotified Communities/ Schedule Caste/ Schedule Caste (Arunthathiyar). Scheduled Tribe candidates should produce community certificates issued by a Revenue Divisional Officer of the competent jurisdiction.

7. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order.

8. Nativity Certificate (if applicable) with supportive documents mentioned in clause 2(b).

9. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

10. A copy of the receipt of the tuition fee. k) Post Card size color photograph (4"x6") the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET PG 2021/ DNB PD-CET 2021 to be uploaded.

The State Quota candidates who discontinue the course on or after the last round of state quota counselling should pay the discontinuation fees besides foregoing tuition fees already paid by them as specified in Clause 37, to the head of the institutions/deans of the respective colleges, the sum as specified below in total using a demand draft drawn in favor of The Director Medical & Rural Health Services, Chennai – 6, payable at Chennai.

Candidates note that the candidates will not be relieved unless the aforesaid discontinuation fee as a penalty amount is paid in total. The concerned institutions will retain original certificates produced by the candidates at the time of admission.

DME has also released the provisional rank list for DNB broad specialty post-diploma across 8 courses.
