Final Edit Window for NEET PG 2021 Applications to open on April 2
New Delhi: Giving the NEET-PG 2021 applicants one final chance to rectify their mistakes in the application form, the National Board of Examinations has planned to open the final edit window on April 2. The window would remain operational till April 4 and during this period of time; the candidates would be able to rectify deficient or incorrect photograph, signature and thumb impression.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with 10 (D) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country. NEET PG is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in medical courses in India.

NEET PG 2021 will be held on April 18 for admission to 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by 6,102 government, private, deemed and central universities.
The Registration Process ended on March 15, 2021, and the payment window was later extended till March 30 for 1,063 applications.
Already NBE allowed a correction window during 19th March to 21st March 2021. During this period of time, the candidates were given chance to make corrections other than the name, email ID, nationality, and test city. After this, no editing in the provided information would be possible for the candidates.
However, NBE informed the candidates about the deficiencies related to images uploaded including photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression. These deficiencies could be corrected using the final edit window that would be operational from April 2 and would remain operational till April 4.
