FNB Admissions 2022: NBE Announces Final Mop-Up Round Results
Delhi: The result of the final mop-up round of counselling for the FNB Courses 2022 admission session has been released. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the results on their official website.
The results consist of Roll Number, Rank, Specialty, Name of the Institute/Hospital, and State. 14 candidates are selected in the final mop-up round of counselling for the FNB Courses 2022 admission session. The states included are Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala.

The result can also be checked at the website https://counseling.nbe.edu.in/.
The following are the courses in which candidates have been selected –
1. Arthroplasty
2. Maternal & Foetal Medicine
3. Reproductive Medicine
4. Spine Surgery
The candidates are requested to join the allotted hospital per the schedule notified vide NBEMS notice dated 01.05.2023. The physical joining at the allotted institute can be done from 11.05.2023 till 17.05.2023.
The following process will be followed –
1. Seat freezed in favour of the candidate.
2. Download the allotment letter and visit the allotted hospital to join the seat.
3. Hospital will verify the candidate's original certificates per the prescribed documents listed in the FNB Handbook of Counseling.
4. The candidates must join the allotted hospital if the document verification is successful. If not successful, then exit from the counselling. The 1st year course fee will be forfeited.
Candidates who did not join their allotted institute in the final mop-up round of counselling by the stipulated date, i.e., 17-05-2023, will lose their FNB Seat & their fee will be forfeited.
The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 to improve the quality of Medical Education by setting high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an all-India basis utilizing existing infrastructure for capacity building. NBEMS currently conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialities leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) and Doctorate of National Board (DrNB), respectively.
