Gujarat MBBS, BDS, AYUSH Admissions: 1743 NEET candidates fail to report in Round 2, Details
Gujarat: Non reported seat list of round 2 UG admissions has been released by the Director of Medical Education (DME). The courses include Medical, Dental, and AYUSH.
ACPUGMEC conducts the admission process for various other courses through NEET counselling which includes Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS), and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS).

Online allotment of seats is based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council. Candidates can choose based on the course of choice, institute/place of choice, government or self-financed institute, tuition fees. Candidates should fill all the available choices irrespective of the institution's status. During the allotment process, if any institute gets permission, they can get admission in that seat.
Candidates who have joined their seats of rounds 1 and 2 allotted will not be able to resign from their seats. Such candidates cannot participate in further rounds of counselling. For state quota UG admission, such candidates cannot participate in round 2 or further rounds of counselling.
According to the merit closure rule of UG admission rules, in the 2nd and subsequent round, the candidate will not be offered admission on the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of the previous round. Suppose any candidate does not participate in the last round in ACPUGMEC. In that case, the candidate will still not be offered admission on the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of the previous round.
Candidates who fail to confirm the admission on the allotted seat due to any reason. In that case, such candidates shall not be allotted the same type of seats in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.
