Gujarat MBBS, BDS, AYUSH Admissions 2021: Check out details for stray vacancy round

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME), through a written notice, has announced details related to the 4th stray vacancy round and the nonpayment of fees seat list for MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS.

DME has notified that in the view of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and instructions from Government of Gujarat, the stray vacancy round will be offline through video conferencing only.

Following is the list of colleges where this offline round will happen –

The 4th stray vacancy round is an offline round. To participate, the candidates have tto log in to the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give online consent and select the help center for physical presence. All the candidates must give online consent.

The online consent can be given till 14th April 2022 till 4:00 pm. The candidate, who has not given online consent during stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate. After giving consent candidates have to take printout of consent/choice form available in registration details, which shows the date and time of consent given by them along with place for this round.

All the candidates included in the merit list can participate in this round, except those who have secured and joined admission in round 2 of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

Candidates have to remain present as per the merit rank on allotted date and time at their selected help center. The candidates will have to bring a consent/choice form at the time of offline counseling. All the candidates should see the vacancy status available for this round and closure of round 3. The admission committee shall allot the seats as available vacancies and vacancies arise due to the cascading effect of those seats.

The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted the admission on vacant seats as well as vacancy arises due to up gradation of seats during counseling. The candidates will be offered seat as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank. If the candidates are not willing to take admission in the offered seat, they can refuse the admission. In such case their previous admission will remain as it is.

If the candidates want to cancel their admission of previous round, they can cancel it at the time of their 4th stray vacancy round of counseling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

Documents to be brought –

1. Consent/Choice Form for 4th Stray vacancy (Offline) Round.

2. Print Copy of NEET-UG-2021 Marksheet [NEET-UG-2021.

3. Std. 10th Marksheet.

4. Std. 12th Marksheet.

5. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship.

6. Domicile Certificate (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar / Executive Magistrate / Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State only (in case of candidate born outside of Gujarat).

7. For SEBC, S.T., and S.C. Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

8. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha' 4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

9. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

10. Copy of Passport (if Citizenship is Dual).

11. Fitness Certificate.

12. Bahedhari/ Tuition fees consent for Students & Parents.

13. Any other document as per requirement.

The candidates, who have taken admission in previous round, have to bring original admission order and receipt of paid tuition fees along with consent/choice form for 4th stray vacancy round. Without original documents and prescribed fees, the candidates will not be granted admission under any circumstances.

The candidates can pay one term's tuition fees by cash or Demand Draft in favor of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at the bank facility provided by ACPUGMEy. If the candidates have paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of whole admission process.

The candidates are advised to come up with a specific arrangement of money to pay tuition fees at counseling. The candidates allotted seats in the NRI category have to pay Rs. 5.00 lakh (as a refundable deposit) by cash or Demand Draft in favor of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at the bank facility provided by ACPUGMEC immediately. If candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Then candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fees in U.S. Dollars or an equivalent amount in any other foreign currency at admitted institute. ACPUGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 5.00 lakh after the completion of the whole admission process.

According to merit closure rule of U.G. admission rules, in this round, the candidates will not be offered admission on the seats available according to their merit in allotment process during previous rounds. The detailed schedule will be published in the website.

The counselling body has released the revised provisional merit list, a list of eligible candidates who are eligible for 15% AIQ seats of SFI, and a list of non-eligible candidates for Ayurveda and Homeopathy for UG courses.

All the candidates, included in the merit can participate in the 3rd and subsequent round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidates of the previous round. According to the merit closure rule of UG admission rules, in the 3rd and subsequent rounds, the candidates will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of previous rounds. If any candidates do not take part in the previous round still they will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of previous rounds.

To participate in the 3rd and subsequent round, the candidates have to log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User-ID and Password to give online consent for participation.

If the candidates, who have confirmed the admission of the previous round and have given consent to participate in the 3rd and subsequent round and have been allotted a new different seat, the admission of the 2nd round will get automatically canceled. If the candidates take part in the 3rd round and their admission does not get upgraded then their admission to the 2nd round will be continued.

Candidates having queries related to the merit list need to send an e-mail to medadmgujarat2018@gmail.com with scanned readable copies of all relevant documents regarding merit queries on or before 13th April 2022 by 12.00 pm.
