Haryana considers NEET 2026 merit for UG nursing, physiotherapy, paramedical admissions- Details

Panchkula: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has issued a public notice informing students and parents that the State Government is considering conducting admissions to Undergraduate Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Paramedical Degree courses for the academic session 2026-27 through the merit of NEET 2026.
All the concerned candidates seeking admission to Haryana based institutes are advised to take note of the details as released by the DMER mentioned below.
"It is for the information of all the concerned students/parents and other stakeholders that the State Government is in the process of considering the admissions to Undergraduate Degree Courses in Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Paramedical programmes for the Academic Session 2026–27 through merit of NEET (UG)–2026 in all Government and Private Nursing/Physiotherapy and Paramedical Institutions," the DMER Haryana notice read.
"National Eligibility-Entrance Test (NEET) UG-2026 is conducted for admission to various undergraduate medical programmes across the country by National Testing Agency (NTA). The last date for submission of online application forms for NEET (UG)-2026 is 8th March, 2026. Accordingly, all interested and eligible students who wish to seek admission in the above-mentioned courses are advised to apply for NEET (UG)-2026 and submit their application forms well before the last date, i.e., 8th March, 2026. The candidates can apply through the official web portal of NTA," it further said.
This notice is issued in the larger interest of students to ensure so that they do not miss the opportunity of consideration for admission based on NEET (UG)-2026 merit in case adopted by the State Government.
