HIMS Slashes Tuition Fees for 2 PG medical courses
Uttar Pradesh- Hindu Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) has reduced the tuition fees of postgraduate (PG program) i.e. MD and MS for the session 2024-25. In this regard, the institute has written a letter to the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education and Training (UPDGME).
Through the letter, HIMS has informed the UPDGME that the Institute has decided to Reduce the Tuition fee to the Postgraduate (MD/MS) candidates of the MD Biochemistry and Microbiology postgraduate programmes for the session 2024-25.
Therefore, the Institute has requested the UPDGME to upload the updated Reduced Fee at the UPDGME official website portal and issue the necessary instructions to the Nodal Centre so that the candidates may be aware and submit the reduced fee at the time of their reporting.

Medical Dialogues has earlier reported that HIMS informed about the decision through a letter to the UPDGME regarding the fee to be charged to the candidates under UP National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) for the academic year 2024 seeking admissions at HIMS
HIMS mentioned the list of courses in which the institute is going to charge less tuition fees. According to the list, there are a total of 8 subjects, including Pathology, Community Medicine and Microbiology which have tuition fees of Rs 6,00,000 and Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine and Pharmacology have no tuition fees.
