INI CET July 2024: PGIMER To Hold 2nd Counselling For Sponsored Candidates On July 24th, Details
Chandigarh- The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh has informed regarding round 2 admissions to MD/MS courses for candidates who applied under the sponsored category for MD/MS admission at PGIMER Chandigarh and qualified for the Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for July 2024 conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi.
As per the notice, the 2nd Counselling/Seat Allotment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Bhargava Auditorium at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Candidates are instructed to submit one set of photocopies of certain original documents from their respective employers during counselling. If the candidates fail to submit the documents they will not be considered for admission.
DOCUMENTS
The documents that need to be submitted are mentioned below-
1 10th class certificate.
2 MBBS Degree.
3 Internship Certificate.
4 State Medical Council/National Medical Commission Registration Certificate.
5 Sponsorship Certificate.
6 NOC from their respective employers/Sponsoring authority during counselling.
INI-CET for the July 2024 session was conducted in Computer Based Testing (CBT) mode on Sunday, May 19, 2024, across all cities in India. However, the last date for admission to the courses is August 31, 2024, and the course will commence on 1st July 2024.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 11:00 am, PGIMER conducted its first counselling/seat allotment.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh, which was conceived in 1960 as a centre of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialities, super specialities, and sub-specialities. Apart from the clinical services, PGI also provides training in almost all disciplines of Medicine, including postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees, diplomas, and fellowships. Admission to post-doctoral and postgraduate courses conducted at PGIMER is made twice a year. The sessions commence in January and July. Admission to the courses is made on merit on an all-India basis.
